>Dude we gotta go try this thing from buc-ees
Still better than when visiting my friends back out east and they demand we go to WaWa for hogiefest. I remember when it was a good deal in highschool but now it's like meh.Buccee's at least has some variety
Fuck you
>>22178736Spunge Bob is eatin that cat food, then he's gonna huff a lil' glue, and then he's gonna drink some beer. Then he's gonna get extremely sick and tired so he can go to sleep.
>>22178745>implying a situation in which you wouldn't eat the cat food
>>22178736Buccees is overrated redneck slop
the main item i see memed from there is the brisket. it cant be THAT good. any anons confirm? i've never been
>>22178802if the brisket is good at a place it is only served a few days a week, beef cuts are super pricey and mass market beef is not that goodthe table smokehouse in mt hope wv (near the new river gorge) is real smoked brisket - its only ready certain times a day because it's actually smoked on site, otherwise you are just buying steamed meat - which may be tender, but won't be flavorful like smoked meat is
>>22178814>the table smokehouse in mt hope wvTheir prices seem really reasonable, like a time warp to before covid
>>22178802>>22178814Its corporate slop brisket
its pronounced - BÅ-ssys with a little whistle on the SS
>>22178802it's okay but the people that act like it's the greatest thing ever haven't had actual good brisket I go there because the gas is cheap and the fountain drinks are decent and they often have some snacks that are cheaper there like the bags of Nerds Gummy Clusters are typically around $4 everywhere but Bucees always has them for like $2.39
>>22178802It's decent for gas station bbq, but doesn't compare to the stuff from actual bbq joints. Not something to go out of your way for, tut if you're road tripping and need to stop for gas/piss break anyway, it's hard to beat.
>>22178802Pretty much what other anons said, it's high tier for gas station food but pales in comparison to proper brisket. Theres something uniquely satisfying about having a car full of low B tier hot foods that you're gonna devour over the next 5 hour car drive
>>22178736>another butthurt buc-ees thread.where did the cartoon beaver touch you anon?
>>22178802I had it chopped and yes it is good. if it wasn't that it was a 35 minute drive from my house to go to the one near me I would get them more often. all the food I have tried there is good.is it better than I can make at home? no.would I stop there and buy a mess of sandwiches before starting a road trip? absolutely.
>>22178736there is one thing that is absolutely undeniable. the bathrooms are fucking immaculate. they have private shitters with doors that close and go floor to ceiling. there are lights above them to indicate they are occupied. the urinals have dividers that also go floor to ceiling. no meat gazing possible so I can see why you might not like it.
>>22178745he's gurning because that's snail food, but spongebob thought it was a can of sponge cake which is his preferred food. (Source: season 3 episode 3)
I will never understand gas station/fast food fandom. I used to have a roommate who referred to Taco Bell as "T-Bell" and I'm like yeah, that's exactly what they want you to do, give the place an affectionate nickname as it gives you diabetes and hypertension (in addition to fiery explosive diarrhea).
