Serrano peppers grown by our White friends.Alfredo sauce was made by cream reduction, using a dry manchego in place of parmesean. seasoned with garlic, basil, oregano, white onion, crushed red pepper, serrano and black pepper.scallops were seared in a garlic lemon butter sauce with black pepper. Brussels were cut in half, cooked in bacon grease with bacon and Serrano peppers, then drizzled with balsamic lemon honey sauce at flameout.this was my grand finale for our 3 day anniversary weekend. 13 years of growing, building and thriving with the love of my life, my smokeshow wife. from humble beginnings, living poor in the suburbs to building a rural, self-sufficient, homestead life together. debt-free & self-reliant.

I cooked this one. we never go to restaurants and don't order in. we grow, raise, slaughter, butcher, and make as many of our ingredients and food as we can. wife milks daily for ~8-9 months of the year. she is making more cheese today. she makes our wine (well... her wine, I dont drink, migraines). she had a dry red with dinner and a B&B made with Tariquet Bas~Armagnac VS and Benedictine after.
