Why has the price risen so much lately? It's not just general inflation, it's more than that. And it's not like they're made from beef. Pork is still relatively inexpensive so why are pork rinds so much more expensive than they used to be?Also, anyone who gets them from an ethnic market instead of the mass produced kind, are those prices still reasonable? I'm only being a whiny bitch about the stuff from supermarkets. Maybe Hispanic stores still are reasonable?

I've had the microwave kind, they're pretty good, replaced the bagged ones like your pic related.The beer store I've been going to started carrying "cracklins" a few years ago and I never looked back, it's got these hunks of soft fat, love itfucking awful aftertaste with my beer though, so I eat a few before drinking and don't touch the bag until the next day

I eat the simple walmart brand ones, regular and barbecue, and they taste decent especially for the price. High in protein too. Autists will screech it is incomplete protein, but still much better than potato or tortilla chips.
