todays lunch is basically a remix of yesterdays as i dont have much to work with at the moment.
Onion, garlic, tomato, chicken broth, leftover chickpeas, cabbage, toasted fideo
its pretty damn good for a quick and easy soup

Looks comfy and tasty. It reminds me of something. I was really sick one time, and this old mexican grandma from church found out somehow. Later that day, she showed up with a big pot of something that looked similar. (I know you said chickpea, but they look similar to hominy) It was wonderful. Shredded pork, cilantro, oil, hominy, onion, garlic, tomato, chilis, and just bursting with flavor. I will never forget it. No idea what it was called, she didnt speak much English and I speak no Spanish. Anyway, OP that looks absolutely bomb, hope you enjoy it.

Today's lunch. Fried potatoes with smoked sausage, onion and cheese. I let the cheese fry up a bit. Got some nice crispy chunks
