How do I improve my taste in food? There are things I just don't enjoy the taste of and make me queasy to eat.
>>
Ally that to the fact you're posting cartoons of children, you're pretty much done and dusted.
>>
>>22188559
try different preparation methods and seasonings
like a kind of exposure therapy
>and make me queasy to eat.
could be that your gut inhabitants arent feeling too happy
like how young children get insane shits once they start ingesting things that arent milk
>>
>>22188567
Yeah, you're definitely his biggest ally in that

Learn to enjoy food prepared plain, or raw with no spices, no sugar, no salt, msg, soy sauce, etc. That way you learn what the ingredients actually taste like and you know what goes well with what.

plain raw cucumber goes great with plain white rice for example
>>
>>22188559
>There are things I just don't enjoy the taste of
you're not supposed to like the taste of everything.
the sooner you realize that there is an entire demographic of people that eat things that taste bad only because they're trying to gaslight others into eating it, the better off you'll be.

these things inculde, but are not limited to:
>mayo
>cream cheese
>ranch
>avocado
>candy
>chocolate
>raw tomatoes
>any pickle other than dill
>salad dressing
>green olives
>sour cream
etc.

>improve my taste
Your taste in food doesn’t really have to change to have “good taste”. It’s more about having “refined” taste. As in, you’ve tried lots of things and can at least describe what you like/don’t like about what ingredients bring to the totality of the dish.
>tomatoes are disgusting!
That would be a childish and unrefined opinion
>tomatoes usually bring too much acid to the flavor for my liking. They have to be used correctly or I won’t enjoy it much. (And you would know this for sure because you have tried lots of foods)
Is exactly the same taste as the other opinion but it refers to yourself and your taste in food rather than being a sweeping opinion on the food itself.
So you also have to be willing to try lots of new things and sometimes revisit ingredients you didn’t like the first time in a new application. Everyone I know who started off being like that (or later chose to do that so they’d be more outgoing) pretty quickly acquired what I’d call “good taste”.

Idk if you’ve noticed but you’re on this site with us and a giant bouncing ass at the top of every screen asking you to goon.
You’re just as done and dusted, but in denial about it
>>
When did it become impossible to use a reaction face on this site just because it originates from anime?

Literally just ignore them and make a new anonymous account for your next post

Not everyone enjoys everything. But if you are serious about improving your taste, then you need to try new things. Especially produce. GREEN things. Are you ready?

The picky eaters that make it about the food like >>22188601 bother me to no end
>>
>>22188615
The top of my screen says "your ad here". I wonder what that's telling me.
>>
It's going in my mouth, not yours, so who the hell cares?

Give me another fried chicken thigh.

Fucking implying
>>
>There are things I just don't enjoy the taste of and make me queasy to eat.
Such as? If you are talking about whole foods then you should try different recipes with them, if it's some processed fake food garbage like tofu or some dressings then don't bother imo, it is what it is.
>>22188567
Anime website. And I very much doubt that particular cartoon is aimed at children.
>>
>>22188567
That's a thousand year old demon.
>>
>>22188559
drink more alcohol it makes you eat almost everything
>>
>>22188559
I'll eat fucking anything, me.
Disliking food of any kind is childish.
It literally exists to be eaten and enjoyed.
>>
>>22188559
What foods do you actually have a problem with? I don't like eggs and I don't feel good after eating them, I'm pretty sure I have a mild allergy but I don't consider that being picky. Same issue with fish.
>>
>>22188622
>picky eaters that make it about the food
see, this is how silly you are.
it's about the food, not the person.
stop liking bad things.
>>
>>22188644
>Anime website
never was.
stop lying to yourself and others.
>>
>>22188837
one of the first boards on this japanese-inspired site was an anime board but i'm sure you know about the true meaning of 4chan since you came here three years ago
>>
>>22188868
It was made for cat haters. We had Dogurday.
>>
>>22188868
Ahhh... Amazon first sold books, so you're saying that it's a bookshop?
>>
>>22188884
that's still a major part of it, yes. they don't completely deny it and have a new vendor coming on selling dildos and telling you it's a dildo site.
>>
>>22188895
That's doesn't make sense. Is it a bookshop or is it an all purpose e-commerce site? Could you visit the site and buy electronics? Or would they respond with "sorry, it's not a book, so no you can't buy it"? If it was initially one thing but is now another, then your analogy holds no water.
>anime pictures
>food and cooking
>what?
>fuck you, it's an anime website
Yep.
>>
>>22188926
amazon is still a book store, but more. anime was a major focus when 4chan was made, and now it's more too.

>Or would they respond with "sorry, it's not a book, so no you can't buy it"?
who is saying you can only talk about anime? people just think you're dumb for hating on anime and trying to tell people the site was never about that. nobody gives a shit if you don't like anime but going out of your way to announce it just makes you look like a newfag tourist.
>>
>>22188926
>anime pictures
>food and cooking
>what?
>fuck you, it's an anime website
nta, but your representation of such scenarios on this site is inaccurate
its quite often a lot more like this:
>anime pictures
>food and cooking
>"kill youself child molester"
>"anime website"

anyways, i dont see anything wrong with using an anime picture on this board - we dont have a board for e.g. reaction pics, and this board has plenty of people spamming racist things unrelated to food even though they're fit for other places
>>
>>22188944
>>22188949
I wasn't castigating you, I said that your rationale was fallacious. I'm not whatever anon you were initially responding to.I find the desire and seeming necessity of posting anime pictures to questions and responses to be quite warped, but you shouldn't be cowed into stopping I suppose. I can sense the mental illness, hence obviously I'm going to back off.
>>
>>22188971
coward
>>
>>22188971
>I wasn't castigating you
correct, because you were replying to someone else
i just threw in my opinion
>>
>>22188755
Maybe it does but I can't help NOT liking something.
>>
>>22188971
> I was not endeavoring to subject you to castigation; rather, I was merely articulating the proposition that the justificatory rationale underlying your position was fundamentally fallacious. Furthermore, I am categorically not whatever anonymous interlocutor you were ostensibly addressing in your initial rejoinder. I find the conspicuous compulsion—and apparent perceived indispensability—to append or interject anime-derived imagery into questions and corresponding responses to be profoundly eccentric, intellectually incongruous, and somewhat psychologically aberrant; nevertheless, I suppose you ought not permit yourself to be excessively intimidated, cowed, or otherwise dissuaded from continuing such a practice merely on account of my personal assessment of it. I can, however, discern what I perceive to be certain indications of psychological maladjustment, and consequently, in recognition of that circumstance, I shall evidently retreat from further engagement.

Echoing others that it’d be good to know what foods specifically. I know for me whenever I’d make a bunch of chicken breast in the oven they’d always upset my tummy a little (skill issue I know)

no I don't. I use Clover on my phone and on my PC I just use regular 4chan with ads enabled.
