Used to be $2.00 couple days ago and served as a great base order for coupons requiring minimum purchase of $2. crazy it had 45% price increase and McChicken is definitely not worth $3. Good bye, McChicken.

a McChicken is 7 USD where I live
>>
>>22189709
what country are you in?
usa mcchicken is on a small bun, I think canada uses the large seeded bun with a bigger chicken piece.
we had the big ones here in the 90s before the arch deluxe came. and it was priced like a big mac or QPC

>>
>>22190300
Imagine moving to a shithole because McDonald's is cheaper
>>
>>22189269
It was just $1.50 at mine which was unironically underpriced. It's worth about $2.29
>>
>>22190308
Like I said, move to a better state.
>>
>>22189859
canada has two chicken sandwiches. your mcchicken is called a junior chicken here, which is about the same size as a mcdouble. what's called the mcchicken here is a larger sandwich, which is more equivalent to a quarter pounder. where i live the junior chicken costs about 2.81 USD, which i suppose is basically the same price but our mcdoubles are about the same too which is different
>>
>>22189269
Its so over
>>
McChickens used to be a Dollar.
>>
You gotta scroll through the menu to find the Meal Deal. They try to hide it from you. You can get a McChicken, small fry, 4 piece nuggies and a drink for $5
>>
A mcchicken is $2 where I live but the spicy is $2.50
>>
Wait, do all you clowns actually have and use a McDonald's app? I mean I go there sometimes, but why use an app? They have a drive thru. Is that not fast enough?

App has better prices/deals.
>>
>>22189867
no I worked there in high school when the arch deluxe changed things up on the menu, new filet o fish and chicken to go with the new bun
back then we would have a special shake flavor every month, like root beer, blueberry, banana, no telling what would show up

I think mcchickens here, now are 1.50
>>
>>22190628
When I was a teenager we'd skate to McDonald's or Carls Jr for a quick $1 chicken sandwich. Sad how times have changed. And yes, I'm becoming a "back in my day" guy already

> And yes, I'm becoming a "back in my day" guy already
oh wow you're turning 27, nobody cares

Let me guess, one is by a major road/highway, the other is off in a shopping center or something like that.
>>
>>22190689
Fast food is cheap enough that I dont care about a $2 coupon.

who the fuck still eats at mcdonalds

All my local mcdonalds switched to eco packaging.

nuggets and fries just come in paper baggies now, no matter the size.

It's soulless.
>>

>>
McChicken around here is over 7 eurobuckeroos
>>
>>22190946
Not anymore, for the quality they're still pushing they're charging more than $4 for something that used to cost a dollar.

Fuck McDonalds. When they got rid of the buy a Doubpe cheeseburger and get an additional for $1 more it really killed any desire to go there. A week back I submitted and got a double cheeseburger. Pathetic. Literally a little bigger than a hockey puck and the patties were less than a quarter inch thick

For me, it's NOT the McChicken. It used to be the go-to budget sandwich, but the prices have gotten completely out of hand. I used to ask for extra McChicken sauce packets, and the staff was friendly and willing to oblige, but now they charge extra for every single drop.
One time I asked for McChicken sauce packets and they gave me three, then hit me with a surcharge on the receipt. I said, "Wow, dollar each?!" and the McDonald's worker just shrugged and said, "I'm going to call you 3-dollar-extra!".
Now the staff greets me with "hey it's 3-dollar-extra!" every time I complain about the bill. It's such an absurdly expensive atmosphere at my local McDonald's restaurant. I used to go there 3 times a week, but paying premium sit-down prices for a tiny slab of processed chicken and a watered-down iced coffee just isn't worth it anymore. It's definitely no longer the fast, affordable meal option it used to be.
I can't even justify dipping my fries in the sauce when a basic order costs what a full meal used to. What a rip-off.
>>
If you still eat this goyslop garbage, you're hopeless and not a human anymore.
>>
>>22190705
It's 1.50 here in north texas
>>
>>22189269

considering what utter crap food that is, that is still a steal
how poor are you?
>>
>>22189866
>>22190278
I think it's a full-sized filet type sandwich in Australia. In America it's basically a chicken nugget on a bun.
>>
>>22194022
>chicken nugget on a bun
yes, exactly. it is just a broad chicken nugget on a bun
>>
>>22190946
For the minimum wagies the dominate 4channel 4 bucks matters a lot
>>
>>22194043
PLUS, because of of highly processed it is, it gives you anal cancer. But considering that only human cattle eat it, it doesn't really matter.
(Post Scriptum: this is also the reason why healthcare is not free in America)

I can't believe there are so many threads devoted to awful fast food and apps and prices.

Isn't the McChicken Buy One Get One for a dollar?
>>
>>22189274
obviously he's comparing to the same location then dummy
>>
>>22195713
...Yes the fucking point you faggot mong retard is that each individual store sets their own price.

Meaning each individual store can CHANGE their own prices WHENEVER THE FUCK THEY WANT.

It's not set by some higher authority.
>>
>>22195732
ok well a ton of individual stores individually raised their mcchicken price by 45-53% within the same week-span regardless of whatever their base prices had been in comparison so individual people are going to individually talk about their individual observations of this phenomenon individually of course
>>
>>22195748
And plenty of other stores didn't change at all.

Wow, amazing how that works.
>>
>>22195755
who denied that or implied otherwise lol?
anyways they haven't all been changing on exactly the same day so some of the ones that haven't seen a price increase still might over the next week
>>
>>22195760
Or more likely your area's Mcdonalds are just all owned by the same franchise operator, and thus they've been updating prices across their stores.

My area has tons of independent or smaller franchise operator McDonald's. Maybe there will be some sudden price change soon, but I haven't seen it yet.
>>
>>22195765
eh people i know are from other states than me have had it go up this week so it's a little more than just that
>>
>>22195795
It's possible one of the larger regional suppliers increased their prices and it's slowly trickling down.

McDonalds also doesn't use a single supplier across the entire US for their ingredients, so an increase in cost at one supplier doesn't mean everyone has an increase in their costs. And of course some stores can simply decide to make less money.
>>

It's not your fault. It's probably the fault of the guy that collapsed the world economy for no reason.
>>
>>22189701
it was still about that much 8 years ago
and then COVID happened and prices went up just as those bastards ended 24 hour breakfast

>>
>>22195834
Yeah far better to use the drive through that is recorded, and pay with a debit/credit card linked to your identity.

That's so much less data they're getting, now they'll have to pay a company that they already partner with to get your email address, home address, credit rating, and anything else they'd ever care to know about you.

You sure showed them!
