Which gravy would you rather use?

Nah, I'm good, thanks. I know how to cook. You do you though, boo.

The full strength one on the left instead of the "organic" LGBT friendly bullshit on the right. Organic is a buzz word that targets retards who don't know any better. Means nothing unless you make it yourself.

both and mix

last night I made frozen meatballs and instant mashed potatoes for dinner. and I found some of this laying around as well so I decided I’d make gravy with it. because that’s essentially what it is right? just gravy you’re supposed to make with extra water? I added like 33% less water than instructed and to my dismay it still never thickened up. so I thought maybe if I put some flour in it, that will do the trick. well that didn’t work at all, the flour basically just turned into doughnuts so it was completely ruined.

Based, it’s such a nice quick bowl meal. Did you use some butter instead?

just use corn starch next time or make a roux. corn starch you mix with cold water then dump into the sauce. a roux you cook in it's own pan and the add the liquid to it and stir.

of course I put quite a bit of butter in the potatoes, also some sour cream to fix the grainy texture it had goin on. when it dawned on me that the gravy situation wasn’t gonna work out I tossed the meatballs in some BBQ sauce. corn on the side as well. 7/10.

indeed these were the things occurring to me as soon I added the flour

flour works you probably just didn't add enough. also the reason you cook flour in butter for a roux is just to get rid of the taste of raw flour. you can actually make a dry roux by baking flour. you can also buy dry roux in a jar which is just baked flour.

I'll probably just get Citarella's or Butterfield's this year, they do a good one.
