Nothin' wrong with a naked dog
>>22195571Needs ranch
I just made two dogs with a pickle spear tucked inside each one, nothing else no mustard or anything. Poor mans chicago dog but was pretty damn good. Wasn't messy.
>>22195571It needs to be a really good dog for that. Your average supermarket trash doesn't cut it.
Needs a proper spicy mustard.
>>22195598where do you even get a gormet hot dog
>>22195571personally? dont really like them like this
>>22195598had some Member's Mark hot dogs recently that were good enough for this. I prefer them to nathan's and they are much cheaper.
>>22195571Needs Ketchup
Ever have a REAL hot dog? It's the same one you can buy at the store, with the same bun you get at the store, but there's VERY LITTLE TO NOTHING on it and you get it from shitty delis and shady street carts and it costs like $6-10! And the dogs are usually boiled or *wink wink* "steamed," to sap as much of their vital chi as possible before you are allowed to consume them!Damn I could go for a Brooklyn dog right now! That's a normal ass dog with some sauerkraut and onion sauce (we do things a lil different in Brooklyn! we cook the onions a bit!) but it costs nearly $20!
>>22195620get some of deez
>>22195571must be awfully dry
>>22196369if you weren’t an absolute novice in the realm of hot dogs then you would know it’s standard to dip them in water
>>22195571at a minimum the bun needs to be toasted and buttered and some sort of sauce, or else you cant call it a hotdog. without those its just a sausage sandwich.
simmer
>>22196385sear
>>22196388serve
>>22196380it’s not a sausage, this is here is a frankfurter.
I forgot I had ought dogs until this thread. yum
>>22196390>>22196499Bros I wish I had that dog in me (not in a weird way)
>>22196501It's really hard to find hot dogs in Straya that are actually similar to American ones but I did finally try these bad boys and they remind me of the old hot dog shack back in my hometown
>>22195571High quality dogs with the foreskin intact are good for that. Nothing like that snap. I don't know why most remove the casing.
>>22196520you should be able to hide from a home intruder anon, and if your hot dogs are snapping he's gonna hear you and find you and then you could get hurt
>>22196523Worth the risk for the prize
>>22196520They don't remove the casing, the dogs are made in big tubes and don't even have a case to begin with. They pump the mince into a tube which is heated from the outside, when the dogs are cooked they are pushed out and sliced.
>>22196528they're definitely wrapped in something when they're formed because you can see the texture of the wrapper in the meat
>>22196535Some are made in metal tubes, others in plastic where it's spun a bit to separate the dogs so there's no separate cutting stage. In the case of the plastic ones they are just forced out with water.
>>22195571I only recently moved up from boiled to pan fried.
>>22196540like this
>>22196547taco bell got me like
>>22196390Hell yes man. Sausage Sizzle
>>22196499Enjoy dude
>>22196714Fuck year!>>22196718I ate 3 and enjoyed them muchly and I have 3 in the fridge that I can heat up later when I'm drunk
