There's only one Popeyes I know of with a drive thru and it's far away from anywhere. It's along a road on the very edge of the city that pretty much nobody uses except truckers and people coming off the highway who live close to that shitty area. Nobody actually lives there because it's nothing but ports/docks, warehouses and wholesalers. I've been to that one once and didn't have any problems but once is not enough to say it never has problems at all.Anyway, it seems that the majority of issues stem from having to split workers between the window and the counter. Since the locations I've been to have no window, that's not an issue so it goes more smoothly. The few times I've had to wait, because I'm not going to deny that it's happened, they've always tossed extras in there as a "thanks for waiting" bonus.I've never gotten cold food or the wrong items.
