I do dd deliveries and have nothing but disdain for the "people" that order it. Double dashes are nice because I'm in a spot with one cluster of restaurants surrounded by suburbs so it saves me time and gas not having to make an extra trip back and forth to some cheapskates house.

I really could not care less about you having to wait longer than you think you deserve to or your food being cold when it arrives. One time a boomer had a melty that he had to wait over an hour for his McDonald's and that it was cold when I got it to him. I only had his order for half an hour (had a couple stops along the way, LOL) so idk what he was talking about, it's still an on time delivery on my side. I still chuckle thinking about him seething.

Sometimes I'll go out of my way to make sure someone's food is cold by the time I deliver it. I've chilled burgers and pizzas down from piping hot to ice cold in just a few miles doing this. Put it in the microwave, not my problem.
