I made these to have sausage sandwiches for lunch for the next week
>>
Sausage.. sandwiches?
>>
>>22210800

>>
>>22210800

You hire female prostitutes to bang you up the shitbox with a strapon, don't you?

>mass prepare and store for a week
nobody sane does this, anon.
>>
Pickled vegetables. Lately cucumbers, carrots, green bell peppers, and celery.
>>
>>22210791
i cook every day
>>
>>22210791
flapjacks, and i pretend it's going to be a week but it's a day or two max
>>
>>22210791
these are texas kolaches aka klobasniks, though i dont observe the latter, which is a postmodern naming convention invented by california transplants and self hating texans.
>>
>>22210807
looks japanese
>>
>>22211267
I saw them called klobasneks/klobasniks in West, Texas which historically has a huge Czech population. it's been kolaches everywhere else though
>>
>>22210791
are you going to cook them?
>>
>>22211370
they are klobasbnek, but they have always been colloquially referred to as kolaches, as well. both are acceptable (in texas).
czech stop will always be superior to slovaceks btw.

I have a pack of cooked sausages in the fridge that just need to be heated. So if I really wanted I could just microwave them. But yes, I like to pan fry my sausages
>>
>>22210791
I used to make a big pot of split pea soup, let it cool, portion it into ziploc baggies, and throw them in the freezer. Whenever I wanted to have a bowl of soup, I'd just pull out a baggie, tear it open, dump the frozen block of soup into a bowl, and throw it in the microwave until it was melted and hot. Wa-la.
>>
>>22210791
I don't do anything to keep on that time frame, I don't like repeating meals in a short period. I batch cook things that freeze well; curry, stews, ragu etc
>>
>>22210791
Meatballs and sauce. Stored separately. Dried pasta and a wedge of asiago in the fridge and you're rolling all week. Or sub broccoli instead of pasta, if you want to lay off the carbs.
>>

>I used to
Did you get burnt out on pea soup?

what's the deal with stewed tomatoes
>>

>using half the sausage instead of the whole sausage for the roll
just got ptsd from the 90s. bakeries used to do shit like this because meat was so expensive. why anyone would do this to this day is beyond me, particularly czechs, who are wealthier than us (bulgaria)
>>
>>22210807
Looks European.

>Beyond me
I bet it IS

Meat ratio is off on hotdogs more often(than not), especially with few toppings as we've come to expect, pretty much.
>>
Chili and cabbage rolls, because they get better sitting around a few days.
>>
>>22214265
am i reading this right? you think you're getting too much meat per bun on a hot dog?
>>
>>22214186
it's better cut in half. they sell both. this one is the better one.
>>
>>22214551
really, they sell both? how do they label and price them?
>>
>>22214579
the big ones are called hot chubbies and they're like 20 cents more or something. probably like $2.49.

i was 200% sure you were fucking with me, then i googled hot chubbies and surprisingly it wasn't until the third result that i got porn. the first two results were exactly what you said they were supposed to be.
looking at this thing, i sort of understand why you'd prefer the smaller ones, but i'd just be more strategic instead, making sure i distribute my bite between the doughy part and the sausage evenly. obviously a full on bite of the central part would be disgusting.
>>
>>22214646
they're both great, I'm not saying the chubbies are bad. it's just that the bread itself is really good, and the bread/cheese/sausage ratio for the halfs is perfect.
and if you get the jalapeno ones, that empty space in my original pic is packed with those so it's even better.
but yeah, if you are a growing boy who seeks hard sausage value you can take the chubby like a champ and you'll love it.
>>
>>22210791
dough looks great but i will need a cross section please
>>
>>22214112
that is some cheap cheap beef
