Recently bought an air fryer to make little snacks so I can store them and sate food cravings. I like chicken wings and heating up like 3 or 4 is a good way for me to avoid compulsively buying junk food.
You guys know some ways to make especially good wings?
>>
>Take wings
>Season wings
>Cook wings (air fryer optional)

I keep it pretty simple. I spice some flour with salt, pepper, and curry powder, then double coat each wing. Into the air fryer they go. You can then toss them in a buffalo or bbq sauce if you want and pop them back in for a minute or two to get a glossy finish.
>>
Put them salted directly into hot oil.
Wtf is this with "breading" there's no breading.
Then you put sauce on the wings and that's all

im a basic bitch when it comes to wings.
Bake them until the skin is nice and crispy then toss them in Franks mixed with a bit of butter

>Dry completely, salt, msg, put on a rack in the fridge overnight.
>Into a bowl combine some cornflour, some Cajun seasoning and a teaspoon of baking soda.
>Dredge the wings, then work in a little oil just to get things going in the air fryer.
>Preheat air fryer to 180c/350f for 4 mins
>Put wings in a single layer skin side down for 12 mins.
>Flip and back in for 12 more minutes.
>When they're nearly done on the stove over a double boiler combine a tablespoon of butter, a tablespoon of harissa, a tablespoon of honey, the zest of a lime and the juice of half the lime.
>When the wings come out toss them in the sauce.

The ultimate recipe I have chanced upon for good oven wings come from Chef John.
The secret is you dredge the wings in a mixture of two tablespoons baking POWDER to one tablespoon salt. Add whichever seasonings you like then thoroughly coat with the mixture and slap them in to the oven at 425 or so for about an hour
They come out extremely crispy and if you quickly dunk them into the sauce of your choice it's a wonderfully crisp experience. Typically I just toss them in some of my favorite barbecue sauce or a mixture of honey and Sriracha

Reduce watermelon soda, a packet of watermelon Kool aid and hot sauce to taste; set aside.
Fry wings hard then remove.
Place wings in hot wok with ginger and scallion whites.
Add watermelon sauce and salt and toss to coat.
Add b&w sesame seeds and scallion greens.
I made this the first year Biden made Juneteenth a holiday figuring it fulfills three aspects of American negro culture and is therefore perfect for the "holiday": fried chicken, watermelon and red drink.
