What are your thoughts on having beer for breakfast, or drinking before noon generally? Is it ever acceptable or is it something only alcoholics do

When I went to my company's headquarters in Sweden they had a beer tap in the company canteen and a few of the Swedes were having a beer with lunch. Even there my manager gave us the talk that if we get a beer at lunch we're getting fired.

OP, even before i was a full full blown alcoholic, for some reason i always had a rule that I wouldnt drink until after 9pm. I fucking hate beer so i would just drink rum with a chaser. Then shit got bad when I started day drinking. and I'm talking drinking from the moment i wake up to the moment i blacked out and ended up passing out. It can be fun, but be careful with that shit, its literally poison. At my worst I could drink a whole 5th by myself. i did that for about 5 years before shit got really bad. That stayed for another 5 years. I would not recommend it brother, trust me.

Legally, you probably can not fire someone from most jobs for having a beer with lunch.
