A friend of yours recently had their leg amputated. They were allowed to keep the leg and do whatever they want with it. Your friend has decided to host a barbecue, where they will slow-cook the severed leg and serve it to all their close friends and family. You have just received an invite to this friends barbecue, what do you do. >do you accept the invite? >do you eat the leg?Assume that eating the leg is perfectly legal.
>>22215485Which friend?
>>22215485HEY! I HEARD THIS STORY ON A PODCAST!
>>22215487Consider multiple, and decide how it would change your answer.
>>22215489Well probably pass on my cyclist friend because it’ll be all stiff and ropeyPass on hippie friend because I’d probably get high or hepatitisI’d consider maybe one of my real doughy friends I guess. But would the meat be marbled properly or would it just be a ropey calf inside a huge chuck of unrenderable fat?
>>22215485if my friend is a good cook, sure
>>22215494Fat people have really well developed leg muscles and would be very well marbled too, I imagine the thigh would be particularly nice.
>>22215485There's probably an exact recipe for that in the Hannibal cookbook that was released with that show. There's even an episode where the cuts rounds out of the thigh and cooks them like lamb chops.
>>22215547>Hannibal cookbook Do you know if the recipes actually refer to the cuts of human meat that were used or do they just substitute it in the recipes for meat from other animals? Like do they give you a decent recipe for actually cooking thigh meat, or do they just give you a decent lamb chop recipe instead.
>>22215485nah, im not a fan of pork or chewy steak. if they where a mermaid ,then id totally try to eat their tail
>>22215558if hes talking about the hannibal cookbook from the tv show im sure its just slices of salmon .on little pastries, its not actually instructing you to use to use meat as if its human flesh.
>>22215572They way I'd write it, I'd detail all the recipes as if they were made out of human meat, and just add a line at the top or in the ingredients list that says "alternatively, the bicep can be substituted for XXX instead" to make the recipes actually possible to make.
>>22215574im sure you can find a PDF of it online, its called the consumers guide or something.
nah I'm not interested in eating human but I would totally go and observe.
>>22215581I would only be interested if the friend in question was thin and healthy
>>22215558obviously not going to give you human recipes and he often didn't cook humans in that show believe it or not. it was more of a cheeky ambiguity.
>>22215625>obviously not going to give you human recipesI'm not going to be having my neighbours for dinner anytime soon, but I feel like having a long pig cookbook would be a neat novelty.
Why not? I have no moral concerns and I would be interested in finding out what man taates like.
>>22215790>what man tastes likeI’m sure you can google the bath house locations near you. You can sample man there. In fact, you can sample multiple men.
