popcorn is easily the best snack food >cheap >variety of flavours>satisfying to eat>can be relatively healthy>doesn't make your fingers greasy
you mean popcoin?
what is a good seasoning for popcorn? i have been doing cajun or white cheddar but I'm bored of it.
>>22215788melted white chocolate and raisins. garam masala and toss with crunchy chickpeas. horseradish powder and cheddar powder mixed together. peanut butter powder, spicy paprika, and powdered coconut.use your imagination.
>>22215780I eat popcorn about once a year, for that sort of think I like to toast some puffed wheat in butter with salt and pepper. Wish I had some now but the apple I just ate with cream cheese and a bit of maple syrup was quite good.
>>22215797>peanut butter powder, spicy paprika, and powdered coconut.seems like an odd combo
>>22215788you can put tajín on anything
>>22215797i didnt know there was so many different popcorns! i only know of carmel popcorn and cheese dust popcorn
popcorn more like poopcorn (faces the camera) heh... owned.
>>22215810Peanut butter with something spicy is actually pretty good tbdesu. I sometimes put chili powder or sweet paprika on my peanut butter toast alongside some other spices like cinnamon and nutmeg (plus a bit of salt too occasionally). Highly rec it for a late night winter snack. Don't go too crazy on the spice though, you barely even want a low-mild spice flavour, it's just supposed to add some warmth into the mouthfeel.
>>22215788olive oil and salt
Duck fat and salt, I imagine bacon grease is probably tasty too
>>22215788It sounds weird but try a sprinkle of both sugar and salt
>>22216277i used to get powdered honey and use it with ground chipotle. a little sweet is good on some popkern
>>22216439Yeah I didnt ask
>>22216441oh okay, sorry.
>>22215780>variety of flavoursAt least you spelt it correctly and tells me you are not from the muppet continent. I like popcorn but the only thing I have seen available is premade packets that you either put in a pan with the little puck of 'Lard'?? or the bags you chuck in the microwave? I have never seen bags of dried corn in Britain, is this a special variety? Nobody seems to know the answer to this?
>>22216441I did
I only buy this
>>22216495before you poke fun of some other continent maybe you should check and see if your countrymen are capable of importing staple grains.
>>22216543Nobody was poking fun (I guess that's some sort of American insecurity issue)> capable of importing staple grains.Staple grains in Europe are Wheat, Barley, Oats, Rye, etc. Something you have no concept or educate of. Even the Corn in the USA comes from Peru.
>>22216554>Even the Corn in the USA comes from Peru. The Americans are kinda famous for their corn lobby thoughbeit. They make so much of it that they need to put it in everything and they still have corn left over by the end of it.
>>22216495Get this, you stupid bong.
>>22215780I like it but whenever I decide to start eating it I end up getting a shell piece stuck in my gums and I stop eating it again>>22216439Creative and yummy
>>22215780But it gets stuck in your teeth and gums
>>22216554>Even the Corn in the USA comes from Peru. This isn't true you dumb ass bong. The corn that I buy from the store comes from my state. I live in Indiana which is basically a gigantic corn and soybean farm.
>>22216554You're wrong about the Peru thing. The US is the world leader in corn exports https://www.iowafarmbureau.com/Article/World-Corn-Trade
>>22216878>Get this, you stupid bong. You missed the point and couldn't answer the question, so who is the stupid one? >>22216864>>22217235>>22217238And potatoes come from Ireland then?
>>22217308>And potatoes come from Ireland then?click the link and see the production stats for yourself
>>22216277That's basically just kettle corn, so no, not weird at all.
>>22217351>click the link and see the production stats for yourselfIt's true what they say about American education,
>>22217308There is a sign right next to the corn at my local walmart that says it's sourced locally. inb4 you demand that I drive to walmart to snap a picture of it for you
>>22217440see>>22217428 Why are Americans so bloody thick? You don't read or understand a post, you just look for a reason to wave your silly flag. Brazil exports more coffee than any other country but coffee originates in Africa.
>>22217445You said the corn in the usa comes from peru. You're wrong and I just proved it. Now you want to pretend that you were actually talking about where corn was originally domesticated which you're also wrong about lmfao. Take the L dummy.
>>22217440>>22217450AI answers are invalid because it is an inherently inaccurate source of information due to hallucinations, link to the actual source or be forever wrong.
>>22217450>Gen A kid and his AiYou lost ages ago, corn exports have NOTHING to do with country of origin, go and sing to your flag.
>>22217458Click on the sources, unc. I get you--you're scared of the big bad AI. It's not going to hurt you.
>>22217475desperate cope
>>22217477You just asked for the source and I gave it to you retard. You're the one coping.
>>22217475I'm scared of retards like you driving. I don't even have a horse in this race with the original point but if you just shrug when AI tells you something and assume it's right then yeah I'm going to call you out for being a fucking idiot.
>>22217491Stop moving the goalpost because you're desperate for more attention from me. I gave you a perfectly fine source>>22217475https://www.britannica.com/There is your source. Click the image and read dummy.
>>22217493>moving the goalpostAnon this >>22217458 was my first post in the reply chain, I told you AI answers are invalid and told you to put your brain to work going to and posting the actual source if you want to support your argument, and you obediently did so(as you should have). My one goalpost is that AI is invalid as an answer source and clearly you agree because you actually posted the source in a picture afterwards.>more attentionNow that you've conceded to the correctness of my point and went to an actual source instead of using AI we're done here. Have a nice day and keep using your brain.
>>22217500Yeah, you got wrecked by both the AI and the source that it used and now you bow out of the thread claiming victory. Have a nice day indeed you dumb BITCH.
>>22217504I never even said I disagreed with your original claim, I just took you to task on how you sourced your evidence supporting it because you did so like a no-brain retard. But anon was right in that you don't actually read what is typed to you. Last (You), take my previous pic's AI advice to heart as well and eat a rock every day. AI told you to, after all.
>>22217526I could clearly see that the AI used britannica as a source because it lists that for me because unlike you, I'm on a PC. It takes me a single click to verify whether AI is full of shit or not. You're a cancerous phonefag judging by your terrible screenshot and cannot see the sources that the AI uses. I can easily click on them so I graciously provided the source that it used for you even though you're a retarded fucking faggot that didn't deserve the two seconds that it took for me to crop an image. You're eternally welcome, dummy.
Let this be a guide to all future phonefags that fear or question AI. Have you ever wondered whether the answer AI gave you is full of shit or backed up by actual research and/or sources? This image is for you.
>>22216495>calls out America out of nowhere>i.e. mentioning the “muppet continent” in reply to a post about how to flavor popcorn >people react>”some sort of American insecurity issue”Kek why are bongs invariably like this
>>22217308What don't you understand about popping corn from corn kernels? Orville Redenbacher's is one of the best brands of kernels for popping. It's available in Bongistan. Get it and pop it in a pot on your stove or in an air popper, you haughty moron.
>>22217745>>22218176>Orville Redenbacher's is one of the best brands of kernels for poppingBrandsBrandsBrandsI don't care if this BRAND is available in Britain, speaking to Americans is like talking to rocks, read my post >>22216495 or get an adult to read it to you. >I have never seen bags of dried corn in Britain, is this a special variety? Nobody seems to know the answer to this? You are just proving me right.
>>22218329Orville Redenbacher's kernels come in a plastic container not a bag. Are you blind as well as stupid? Does this like a bag to you? >>22216878
>>22218335Now he'll just bitch about it coming in a plastic container even though his country and every other one in the world with access to the internet makes products available in plastic containers. You're not having a conversation there, the exchange is just a vehicle for him to bitch about americans.
>>22218342>You're not having a conversation there, the exchange is just a vehicle for him to bitch about americans.I know, but it's fun to shit on retarded arrogant Bongistanis. I also know he's lying about popcorn kernels in bags not being available in Bongland. Kernels in bags are sold in regular British markets. It's not hard to look at the inventories of major British markets and find bagged popping corn.
>>22218335>>22218342>>22218373Holy shit anon, you have totally missed what the Bong anon posted.
>>22218976It's more that you seem to have missed the through line, which is him just using every post possible as an excuse to whine about americans. This is not an uncommon thing on this board so you should get better at recognizing it soon.
>>22215788when i was a kid my mother would give it to me with that kraft parmesan (cheese) and fresh black pepper, i thought it was normal until a friend spent the night and was like wtf is this?
I prefer popped rice
>>22219042That sounds good though>>22215788Straight up garlic powder or garlic saltIf you want to be real cook make garlic butter
>>22215782say pop and then say corn and then say popcorn
>>22219043>popped riceFirst time hearing about it, you're gonna need to provide some pictures.
>>22219716NTA but really? You never heard of popped rice? You never had Kashi cereal? That was my favorite cereal as a kid. Dry without milk. I love the taste of the various popped grains in Kashi including rice.
>>22219738I've seen that stuff before but I never realised it was popped rice. It's always advertised as just "grain".
snackase
>>22215780Yes
