Am I a bad parent if I feed my children this for lunch everyday?
It’s just so easy, convenient and affordable and having to make them food multiple times a week is pretty annoying and time consuming. Completely justified, right? Plus I’ll usually give them some fruit too to go along with it so they get all their nutrients. My husband keeps insisting I actually cook them something instead, but I’m already cooking dinner almost every night and it gets tedious having to cook all the goddam time. He thinks it’s ok to put this on me because I’m a stay at home mom, but honestly I’m doing so much other shit throughout the day too that even just not having to make lunch would take a huge load off.
>>
>>22218267
First off for the price you pay for one of these things, you can make 5 at home. Secondly, yes bitch, you are a bad parent. Make them a sandwich, meal prep some chicken, cook a damn box of pastaroni in like 5 minutes. Stop being a lazy cunt
>>
>>22218275
It says it's inspected and passed by the dept of agriculture
>>
>>22218267
Yes, you are a bad parent. I'm a stay at home mum and I cook three meals a day every day, it's the job. Feeding your kids shit like this sets them up for failure with food. You need to do better.
>>
>>22218275
No, I can buy a 5 pack of these for less than $10 at Walmart. Plus the time I’m saving by not having to make lunch is worth it
>>
>>22218267
yes AND dogshit with money
>>
>>22218275
if op isnt trolling this
its not that hard to meal prep
get a vacuum sealer pre make shit defrost enjoy

one of my favorite snacks is just getting a 99c broccoli bag defrosting it
with a water bath in the bag then marinating it with some salt for 5mins
squirt on some ranch with the soggy salty broccoli juices in the bag
mix/shake enjoy
>>

don't have kids if you don't wanna put in the work to raise them
>>
>>22218288
i wish we lived in a reality where breeding is a earned privilege

>>22218286
You forget I that this is for children, who are super picky. You think they’re going to want to eat broccoli every day?
>>
>>22218285
I can buy a 5 pack of these for less than $10 at Walmart. That pretty much covers lunch for the whole school week for one kid
>>
>>22218294
kids aren't born picky, it's learned behaviour. feed them slop from the start and they will grow up to only like slop.
>>
>>22218288
I put in tons of work. God forbid I just want to give myself a bit of breathing room by skipping making lunch
>>
>>22218299
You’ve obviously never had or interacted with children. Sit this one out and let the grown ups talk, little buddy
>>
>>22218294
unseasoned hard vegetables are shit my method makes them yum
you can do this with any veggie really
but that's not your only option
just learn how to meal prep
as a mother learning how to make food in bulk
to be proportioned out to your family later should be a required skill

its will save you so much time stress and money

i really dont get how stay at home moms can bitch with all the tech and information out there
just get ai to think for you at this point
its probably a better parent
>>
>>22218267
how is 90 grams of crackers a meal?
>>
>>22218301
>I put in tons of work.
Doing what?
Learn how to live a life that prioritizes your children and family.
Those are where your work should be put.
And if you're exhausting yourself with all the info and tech out their doing that its a skill issue.
But really you're either lazy or more likely prioritizing things over your family.
>>
>>22218321
oh and sorry for being so rude if youre not trolling its just lazy moms piss me off growing up with one
when it comes to salting your veggies like meat use more then youd think

260cal of meat, cheese and crackers for a small child. Maybe pack it with some fruit and have them buy milk at school. A perfectly fine lunch, but you can give them something higher quality for the same price per weight if you buy the components separately.
>>
>>22218267
They'll be fine. I voluntarily ate those from kindergarten all the way up to high school. The nachos version sucks though.

i refuse to believe americans actually feed their kids this shit every day
theres so little nutrition its bordering on child abuse, if you dont give a shit about your kids growing up healthy why have any in the first place?

idk why people keep replying to this with advice on how to do better. op clearly only made this thread because she wants everyone to agree with her.

because normies are a slave race and just do what they're told without any thinking about it

Kids are turbo Goyim
they want whatever they're convinced they want.
>>
The real reason kids don't listen to their parents is that they don't respect them.

Most people are walking hypocrites;
and kids living life in slow mode picking up every detail pick this up quickly.

The real reason kids throw tantrums is because they don't feel respected/cared for.

Kids who are ignored by their parents end up being the most annoying fucks desperate for attention.

Kids demand consistency and attention if you can fulfill those roles they'll do whatever you want.
And i don't mean be a push over consistently i mean your word and actions are law.
Not gambling mechanics, the kids can get high off of.

And when you're a kid and the slot machine constantly fucks you
you're going to be horrible pos which creates a feedback loop of
the parent being bad making the kid bad
making the parent worse making the kid worse
as no respect or proper communication was established between either parties
the adult being copable as well being an adult
>>
>>22218299
Not with broccoli.
Children are super tasters and smellers, a protective measure because they are still more susceptible to toxins. They react much more strongly to bitter and sulfurous notes. Such as broccoli, that one has notes that instinctively leads to an aversion.
>>
>>22219003
Nigga as a kid who loved broccoli who knew other kids the same its a learned behavior
usually because retards think eating raw/steamed veggies plain is ok
SEASON YOUR FOOD RETARDS
>>
>>22219003
As a kid I liked boiled brussel sprouts so I'm not sure about that.
I'm a lunchables kid too. My mom bought one recently cause she was feeling nostalgic which is why I even checked this thread out.
She had a job with a long commute and still cooked dinner so I'm wondering what excuse OP has where they're busy all day every day.
>>
if your food doesn't have some combo of fat and seasoning
its not going to taste good
dont get how thats hard for people to get

fruit is the only acceptation
other foods that want to be eaten seeds/nuts can be argued for
but even plain bread the best example (wheat being a refined ground seed)
is better with some salted butter
>>
>>22219015
>broccoli anon here this is just a good bait thread
i too liked lunchables as a kid but that was because
i thought they where rich kid shit
same thought i had as a teen with Hollister and Abercrombie
its golem goyim mentality as i said before kids are turbo goyim
literal sponges of how should i act/think what should i do
which is why you can take a nigga out the hood but not the hood out a nigga
the hood itself being a culture that is propagated and fueled by the powers that be
unironically to keep black people down so poor whites have some one to feel superior to
making them easier to control on both sides
like a great masonic chess board
>>
>>22218842
No it's not, feeding kids shit like this sets them up for obesity
>>
>>22219022
>unironically to keep black people down so poor whites have some one to feel superior to
not just the poor whites
but also the intellectualized elite's
that think black people cant work a computer and need hand outs
which only cause more left vs right diversion between the races
creating horizontal instead of vertical warfare
>>
>>22218267
>Am I a bad parent if I feed my children this for lunch everyday?
Not necessarily any worse than people who fed their children cereal everyday for breakfast.

There's no fruits, veggies, or fiber that comes in a lunchable. If you pack a lunchable with some other stuff, it'd be decent enough. Raising kids is hard.

>having to make them food multiple times a week is pretty annoying and time consuming
My son just gets leftovers or wraps (because you can fit more stuff in a wrap than a sandwich). Wraps are for days there are no leftovers or the leftovers are fish. We're not going to let him reheat fish at school. We're ethnic but we're not /that/ ethnic.
Today, he took zucchine dill rice, lemon sauce chicken and sauteed spinach. Also a handful of muscadines. He has his water and his cran-raspberry juice to drink.
Leftovers take no time to pack and wraps take a minute since we just package the components and let him assemble it himself at school (wraps get mushy from the veg otherwise) and many of the veg are just orphaned leftover sides with no main to go with it, like oimuchim or morkovcha).
Since you are, by your own admission, "already cooking dinner almost every night", there should be plenty of leftovers to pack your kids.
You're not just lazy, you're uncreative.
>>22219003
Yeah, I posted about how we got our kid to tolerate and eventually like broccoli when he was starting purees and you childless cunts said it was child abuse.

You should go to prison for poisoning your children with that
>>

>>
>>22219213
crackers, cheese and ham is not poison. It would obviously be cheaper to buy a box of crackers, a block of cheese and a pack of ham but if they can afford it then fair enough.
>>
>>22219248
Yeah, they’d have to be like elementary or preschoolers for that to be enough
>>
>>22218267

Yes you are. Have to go back soon. Maybe in 2 weeks.
>>
No, you're a bad parent for wasting your money.
>>
>>22218267
Yes. At LEAST spring for cracker pizza if you have to resort to lunchables. These are depression meals for kids that leave you hungry.

You can EASILY replace these with proper sliced salami, ham, and some cheese slices you quartered. They make crackers in little sleeves so you can portion crap. Slap em in a bento lunchbox and you are golden. Include a dip sauce too. The ham and swiss you get in these are horrible - even to a child. Get real ham and swiss from the store and cut it up. Will be 100x better.

>>22218322
It's not, OP is coping that is it.

>>22218478
Still kinda terrible. You can get better from the shelves and make your own. ESPECIALLY the crackers - the boxes are just fresher for some reason. These kits seem to use rock hard crackers to resist the cold (so they don't mold), so using ritz or other cracker is way better.
>>
>>22218267
>Am I a bad parent if I feed my children this for lunch everyday?
Yeah
>>
>>22219250
>crackers, cheese and ham is not poison
crackers, cheese, and ham is not what's in Lunchables
>>
>>22218283
Nonsense. This rhetorics leverages a lack of awareness for self-validation.

White flour: $0.58 per 2,000 kcal
Chicken boneless skinless meat: ~$5-8 / 2,000 kcal
Unfortified nonfat dry milk: $5.9 / 2,000kcal

You can trivially cook ~2-5 times the calories for the same price, without processed meat additives (likely most concerning issue).
>>
>>22218267
