Has it objectively gotten worse or have my tastes just changed since I’ve gotten older?I went there recently and it’s just sad. The original recipe tasted like garbage, the “breast” was more the size of a thigh and the meat inside looked gross.Maybe as a little kid my tastes were not as discriminating, idk, but it’s just awful now.

Yes, it has gotten worse but only in the U.S. KFC in Thailand is excellent, China pretty good, I've heard good things about Japan but never been.
More grease and sodium rich breading which are cheaper than the chicken and make you feel full (bloated) quicker. Meanwhile the prices remain the same.

The two pieces were tiny drumsticks like picrel. They didn't even look like they came from a chicken.I laughed out loud when I opened the box at how bad it was.Also the small fries that came with the deal had maybe 6-7 fries total.It was a miserable snack and the worst "deal" ever.Never again.(Google KFC tiny drumsticks - this is common!)
