and it never occurred to me that you could just dip your favorite pizza rolls in any kind of sauce you want
so you started dipping them in aged elmer's glue and decided to post here?
>>22220838>Jeno'sthere's a name I haven't heard in a while. when I was in grade school, they did a "park day" for our class where we all went to the park and ate pizza. I assumed it would be the same pizza as the school cafeteria which I thought was disgusting so I asked my mom if she could make pizza for me that I could take along. she chose Jeno's.I ate my shitty lukewarm pizza until I saw that the pizza they'd brought was in fact good stuff from a local place. I threw the rest away and never told me mom and spent the rest of the day very sad.
>>22220838>and it never occurred to me that you could just dip your favorite pizza rolls in any kind of sauce you wantDid you know that you can add more cheese or pepperoni to frozen pizza or dip your crust into tomato sauce too
>>22220881They wouldnt let you have some of the good stuff the rest of the kids were eating?
>>22220838we toss them in sauce like buffalo wings. general tso pizza rolls, mango habanero pizza rolls, etc. i call them soggy pockets.
>>22220890nope you had to pay for it in advance
>>22220898well fuck you then, freeloading asshole
>>22220838The problem with pizza rolls is that if you eat them pipin' hot, they're too hot and scorch your mouth. But when they reach the temp where they're cool enough to eat, their temp falls off so quickly that you can't really enjoy them because they're now cold.
>>22220958how so? my mom made my lunch, if you consider that freeloading then I don't know what to tell you
>>22221058they're a device to deliver blue cheese dressing to my mouth
>>22220898I wonder what they did with the spare slices. When we had a class pizza party in fifth grade the European exchange student couldn’t afford a slice so I bought him a spare one on the day (was only a dollar so it wasn’t like I was showing off).>>22221058I wonder if there’s a good solution to that. Presumably a Star Trek replicator would make perfect temp pizza rolls but it’d be kind of tedious having it make a couple at a time
>>22221398Why cant they make more at a time
>>22221058>>22221398>I wonder if there’s a good solution to thatObviously it's a heating lamp or one of those gas station hot dog rollers
>>22221398probably threw them away. that's just American culture. we will deny a child food that we were gonna throw away because they didn't have 1 dollar. spare food when I was on field trips was always just thrown away. because you can't take a bunch of food back onto the bus.I went on a field trip once and didn't have any money so I had to stay on the bus while everyone else went into a restaurant and ate. I also didn't have any food.
>>22220838I tried some walmart pepperoni pizza rolls and went through like 12oz of ranch with them. I wouldn't buy them again.
>>22222113you should make your own dips. you can eat anything with a good flavorful homemade dip. but yeah great value frozen food is dogshit. don't buy their chicken nuggets either. they literally deflate when you cook them because theyre pumped full of air to make them seem larger. I wish I was joking.
>>22222121>you should make your own dips.anyone buying frozen snacks isn't too likely to make their own dips from scratch
>>22222123I love frozen trash and I've always made my own sauces and dips. I don't think we should discourage or demoralize even if it is the case. It just makes the board worse if we actively discourage people from making their own food, even if it's just mixing condiments together. My favorite homemade sauce is paprika and red pepper flakes bloomed in olive oil until dark and almost burnt then mixed with mayonnaise, black pepper, garlic, and lemon juice.Looks something like this when done. It's very good. Smokey and deep savory flavor. I originally found it on Bon Appetit like 10 years ago and it was called Malboro Man dipping sauce but I think they deleted the recipe and the page so it now exists only in my mind.
>>22220838Totino's Pizza Rolls changed. They're disgusting now and taste like chemicals. I used to like them. Now I hate them.
>>22220838Pizza rolls is peak american cuisine. Dry, bready and an abomination of another culture's actually decent food made as cheaply as possible in a factory to maximize profits
>>22221894They’d get cold and gross>>22222129Your sauce sounds very yummy>>22222178Someone needs to make cheez it crust pizza rolls
>>22222192iirc pizza rolls actually started as a product being sold at a restaurant. when I was a kid they weren't even bad. but they got shrinkflated like everything else. they don't even use cheese anymore it's some kind of frankenfood meant to trick you into believing that it's cheese.
