Why would someone be eating a bowl of raw carrots along with the carrot cake? Even if it's just an ingredient and left over from what was used in the cake, its absolutely preposterous that they would still be out after whoever is baking had the cake in the oven, and sit long enough to be get icing and sliced. They would have placed the carrots back in the refrigerator hours ago

Any time I use carrots I cut up some extra to leave in a bowl on the table to snack on through the day. Do that with all of the veggies that are good for snacking on.
