what's ACTUALLY the difference between ham and pork?

Is all ham pork but not all pork is ham like the square/rectangle relationship?

let me know...
this is urgent...

yes.
>>
ham is just too chewy and "processed". it's like roast beef. just stay away from these processed meats. eat them the way they're suppposed to be eaten.
>>
Ham comes specifically from the leg. Pork comes from everywhere.

the hell are you talking about "chewy"??
>>
>>22226831
That's the difference, one is too chewy

Ham is the back legs and is a kind of pork. Depending on where you are it may be expected that its cured before its truly ham. Pork is any meat off the hog

ITS PICKLE SURPRSE
>>
>Just found out why ham's so high
>Only two back legs on a hog, that's why
>Cross'em with an octopus and ham'll come down
>It'd be hog in the middle and ham all around!

I think it's just salt that gives ham it's texture, it does weird things to meat and just look what it does to eggs over a couple minutes. But yeah and I don't think we evolved for a diet of 2% salt either.
