Is it overrated?
>>22233925I wouldn't know. I'm in Sam's country.
Yes/thread
>>22233925Depends on what you shop for.I can pay off the cost of my membership just with peanut butter. The price at Costco, when it goes on sale, are literally half the price at the cheapest of my local grocery stores. For the last three years, every December/January sales flyer has had it on sale. This year they also put it on sale in July. If you eat a lot of it, it's a no-brainer to pay the membership fee and hit the sales. There's a beef jerky I like which even at normal price is something like two thirds of the cost in grocery stores. This year I caught it on sale one time, and on manager's closeout pricing a second time. A pound of beef jerky for $11 is a damn good price anywhere nowadays. They have a pretty good price on chili (with beans) made with ground beef, under $5/lb. Lots of times I find enormous chunks of solid ground beef in it.The chicken strips I like there are 20% cheaper than the identical brand at my local grocery stores.Produce prices, you can generally find things cheaper in other stores, not to mention that they force you to buy such large quantities that the produce goes bad before you can finish it.They have some extremely high quality items like Coastal brand cheddar (now cobranded as "Kirkland Coastal").A lot of their deli stuff is ridiculously overpriced. Some products are just plain awful.Like anywhere else, you have to find products that you like and hope they don't cheapen it into garbage.Overall I do 80% to 90% of my grocery shopping at Costco. There are things they don't sell, such as turkey drumsticks and certain frozen vegetables, and soda is much cheaper at Wal-Mart. That's about all I buy elsewhere.
>>22233925It's anti president Trump so I am against it.
>>22233936same
>>22234173I'm sure it's not, but if it is, good move. Don't want to be on the wrong side of history.
>>22233925It's anti president Trump so I am for it.
>>22234171>Overall I do 80% to 90% of my grocery shopping at Costco. There are things they don't sell, such as turkey drumsticks and certain frozen vegetables, and soda is much cheaper at Wal-Mart. That's about all I buy elsewhere.buying protein, and frozen items are the best things to buy. Bacon, off cuts of beef, and chicken including the 5 dollar rotisserie are all great deals or are higher quality than what I can get at my local chain grocery but like you said if I want to buy corn and i don't want to process it i buy it wat literally anywhere else.
>>22233925Massively overrated. That little affordable food court Costco has is a nice touch but beyond that they don’t offer any additional savings or food quality from the supermarket
The value is significantly diminished by membership dues not filtering BEGGARS for at least a decade now, and higher tiers not having exclusive hours that approximate that experience once again (even if a boomer qualified for their Senior hours at some locations).
>>22233925Overrated and simultaneously inferior to Sam's.
>>22234171>I can pay off the cost of my membership just with peanut butter.Oh, is it less than 99¢/jar for Skippy? Cuz I buy Skippy from an Albertsons banner store for 99¢. All varieties routinely go on sale at that price point, ncluding the protein-blasted nonsense one. And if you've got 50¢ off paper coupons, so much the better. Not sure CostsMo' can beat 49¢.>>22233925It's a retard store for retards.
>>22234582Retards can buy their own retards now?Fuck, there goes my side hustle.
>>22233925No, only poorfags with no family say otherwise
>>22234582>Oh, is it less than 99¢/jar for Skippy? Is that the three ounce travel sized jar?I'm talking about TWO forty-ounce jars for $7.99. Ten cents per ounce. Beat that, albyboy.
>>22234270You're wrong, Costco's CEO is a leftist kike. It was started by leftist kikes also. They've been assholes about it since Day 1.Other far-leftist companies include Progressive Insurance, RealNetworks (formerly "Progressive Networks"), and BlackRock (Larry Fink is the scumbag who forced companies to embrace DEI policies by threatening to refuse to allow his funds to invest in them if they didn't).
>>22233936Honestly Sam's is better for packaged and frozen food. Costco wins in the meats and homegoods department.
>>2223494816oz jars IE five jars for $4.95 = 80oz (like your two 40oz jars) for $3.04 less than what you pay total and less than 7¢ per ounce. Even less because there's no membership fee.I repeat: CostsMo' is for suckers.
>>22233925>Go to Costco>Multiple different races and languages >No respect or courtesy >Free for all mad house>She small old white lady overwelmed by disrespect. >Get banned from /ck/ for racism I hate Costco.
>>22234171>>22235016>>22234948>A pound of beef jerky for $11 is a damn good price anywhere nowadays.Oh, and beef jerky, I actually prefer CVS' store brand and they throw money at me every month. $5 in ExtraBucks plus a $3 off Well Market (their store brand food) coupon. The 9oz jerky is $15.49 but after the ExtraBucks and coupon, it's $7.49 IE $13.32/lb), which is admittedly, not quite as good as the price you claim, but the cheapest I can find on https://www.costco.com/s?keyword=jerky&sortBy=score%2Bdesc is the store brand at https://www.costco.com/kirkland-signature-premium-extra-thick-steak-strips-12-oz.product.100333696.html for $19.86/lb ($14.89/12oz package). Unless you mean the beef sticks at https://www.costco.com/kirkland-signature-grass-fed-beef-sticks-115-oz-12-count.product.4000367875.html , which are $17.38/lb ($14.99 for a 12pk of 1.15oz sticks).Seriously, even at full price, ($27.54/lb), I would buy the CVS jerky, that's how much I like it. ffs, Jack Link's is currently on sale at Albertsons banners for $15.98/lb and I would still buy CVS' store brand.
>>22234555thislast time i went there, i thought i had stepped into mumbai or something
Just don't buy things like half a kilo bottles of Everything But the Bagel seasoning and you'll be good.
>>22233925Sams club mogs Costco at everything
>>22235330really? like even in meat?
>>22233925Overrated? YesStill pretty good? Also yes.If you are feeding a large group, use a lot of gas, or willing to crunch numbers a bit it's worth it. If you treat it like a grocery store and expect to brainlessly save, you're gonna have a bad time.
>>22235033Different anon but one thing I hate about Costco is they made all the online food prices higher than the in-store price after Covid (something which Sam’s Club doesn’t do), usually by at least a couple bucks
>>22233925Its like a bazaar now its always filled to the brim with Indians that jostle you for free samples and come with their entire extended family
>>22233936Pimp
>>22234999Go back to Walmart with the rest of your goyslop eating obeasts.
>>22235438get rekt you fucking slob
>>22234999>LE JEWS LE JEWS LE JEWShow do you incels STILL take this angle when your pedo cult leader is the biggest jew cocksucker in the world today?
>>22236438It’s the jews?
i make my membership cost back from free samples alone
>>22235412This is the truth of it.
>>22233925Yes. The discounts aren't great. I didn't consider it worth it to renew after a year trial.
Ive only been to the Sams Club here. Ive noticed in costco vs sams club threads costco does seem more bad ass.The sams club app is pretty cool because you can just check out scanning and using your phone. supposedly the quality of costco stuff "Kirkland" is slightly higher quality then sams "members mark". I wouldnt know. Ive always wanted to go to a costco though it seems fucking massive in comparison to sams club.
>>22236618Maybe where you live. Here in Georgia all Costcos are wall to wall Indians and Chinese.
>>22236620That’s why I said they haven’t figured it out here yet. I live in Green Bay though. I don’t think the niggers can afford Costco and it’s too cold for pajeets. I’ve been to Costco in coastal states and they’re full of street shitters but so are the regular grocery stores. Grim.
I have a Sam's Club and a BJ's within a 15 minute drive of me and I decided to go with BJ's because I was able to get a yearly membership for only $5
>>22236618>What Costco has is high quality productslol >fair pricesThat you have to pay to access lmao>a great bakeryYou actually believe this, don't you rofl >executive membershipHoly fucking roflmaoYou actually pay more to pay more to pay? lolY'know what's hilarious? Poor-people-ass Lidl has better baked goods than CostsMo' and you don't have to pay a yearly fee for the privilege of paying $6 for a pair of shitty baguettes. You just pay $2 for a good baguette (or $1.49 for a rustic one) and no yearly fee. Like everything else about CostsMo' the bakery is shit and shittily priced.
>>22237197You have to comparison shop. Pasture raised eggs, generic Flonase, and almond flour are all far less expensive at Costco than at any of the supermarkets around here. They used to also have a very low cost ink cartridge refill service but discontinued that around the time of the pandemic. And some things that are similar in price to grocery stores are still worth buying at Costco because if you want a large quantity, there's often not enough in stock at the standard supermarket. The flip side of that is when Costco only has large containers of things you only need a small amount of, you're best off at a normal grocery store. For me, I just ask my parents when they're going to go, and then go with them when they do. It's also a way of getting some low grade in person time with them, which is important when you live in different parts of town.
>>22234999>Rags on le joos while supporting Zion DonFuggin lmao
>go to costco>takes 10-15 minutes to navigate through the parking lot of moms and entire indian/chinese families backing out their 8-seat SUVs>finally find a spot>have to bob and weave through the aisles like you're avoiding landmindes in the third world>get to checkout>every line is 15 people long (bonus, only 2 registers open)>have to spend an additional 10-15 minutes getting out of the parking lot, and add an additional 10-15 if you need to get gasCostco is exhausting and whatever nominal money you save is lost in cortisol and time wastedSam's Club wins on scan n go alone
BJ's is better than either Costco or Sam's if you aren't a sucker who gets drawn in by store brand sneakers or whatever the hell Kirkland shit is. BJ's:>mostly supermarket items>same electronics deals as Sam's Club>bakery is great>produce is great>smaller stores so less of a pain in the ass to navigate>$5 membership all the time
>>22237326Okay, while I still disagree with your opinion, I'm sorry I was needlessly unpleasant with mine. Excepting Flonase, which I've no base knowledge of its pricing and therefore am unable to to have an informed opinion on, I'm absolutely certain I can get pastured eggs and almond flour cheaper elsewhere and probably can get name brand Flonase cheaper than generic. Excepting B1G2 sales on private label OTC vitamins and medications, sales + manufacturers coupons usually make name brand OTCs cheaper and I'm certain I've seen $10 off Flonase coupons in the past. Just combine that with a sale and the literal free money CVS gives me and I could probably get it cheaper than what Costco sells it for. Still, none of that matters if you just like Costco. No foreskin off my dick if you like shopping there. I'm glad you get decompression and shopping time with your family.
>>22237466You're still being a dick. He gave concrete examples, you're having emotional "I'm sure I could find" reactions. Sounds like you're simply incapable of having a real discussion and instead want attention for some reason. It's ok to read a thread and simply never post a response if you have nothing of value to contribute. Your emotional state isn't something of value to anyone here.
RIP combo slice, you will never be forgotten
>>22237484Your emotional state isn't something of value to anyone here, ma'am. I'm sorry facts upset your labia so badly but it's ok to read a thread and simply never post a response if you have nothing of value to contribute.
>>22235441thisStopped going there when it reached the point that 70% of the store as just indians shopping
>>22237488You sure do know how to hurt a man
>>22237488I fucking mourn the combo pizza so muchwhy the fuck can't they bring it back? I get they discontinued it because of the coof in 2020, but now it's 2026, what the hell gives?
>>22237488That thing looks loaded lol
>>22239294>I get they discontinued it because of the coof in 2020 That's not why, though. They discontinued it because it was time consuming and had shitloads of different toppings. Unused portions all had to be thrown out at the end of the day because of food safety bullshit. It just wasn't as profitable and most people are fine with pepperoni instead. The real tragedy was the Polish sausage. The fuckers still sell it in Canada, just to taunt and torment us. Costco is an America-hating Jew-run company that drains the finances of the goyim.
>>22237330>>22236438I literally never mentioned Trump or "Zion Don", you two kikesucker well-poisoners were the ones who brought him into the discussion.Rent free, motherfuckers.
