What's the most overpriced food item relative to its quality? let's limit the answer to stuff you can find in stores
>>

Big chicken
>>
Sugar snap peas cost over $5 USD per pound ($11 USD per kilo). And that's WHILE they're in season.
>>
>>22245757
What shithole, overpriced supermarket are you buying from?

Off the top of my head, pine nuts. They taste pretty good but aren't close to worth their price. Thankfully you don't need much to make good pesto.
>>
>>22245744
AN IDIOT SANDWICH
>>
>>22245772
just use cashews, hazelnuts or almonds
>>
>>22245778
I do almonds in feta pesto with a spinach base but pine nuts have a certain taste and smell I like more when I do basil pesto.

Beef jerky

5.60 at my local Walmart and the cheez its are 4 dollars. idk what store this is but stop going there.
>>
>>22245931
Oh look here comes big spray cheese trying to imply that five and a half dollars is somehow reasonable.
>>
>>22245744
>bun lettuce bread bun
Is this the infamous british cuisine I keep hearing about?
>>
>>22245931
>shopping at Walmart
I see what you are.
>>
>>22245931
$5.60 for Easy Cheese is also insane
$4 for a box of wheat crackers is also insane
You are cattle
>>
>>22245933
nowhere did I say or imply that but if you want to get into it, walmart brand spray cheese is actually reasonably priced.

>>22245935
walmart is the only supermarket where I live and it's a 20 minute drive to get to the walmart. thankfully I live in a relatively nice rural white area so even walmart is rarely visited by strange or undesirable people.
>>
>>22245941
>strange or undesirable people
we both know that's you
>>
>>22245744

>>
>>22245744
potato chips.
>>
>>22245984
these would sell better if they went full gacha and showed you all the potential toys and had rare ones and changed seasonally.
hire me, kinder.
>>
>>22245760
Go check your super market. Also they can only be harvested by hand.
>>
>>22245757
>>22246135
Overpriced doesn't mean "I think this should be cheaper!!" Some things are just expensive despite being on razor thin margins, it doesn't mean they are overpriced.
>>
pussy. bitch ex wife cost me my house. fucking whore. never eating box ever again.

Fricking cute
Asparagus is pretty expensive for such a dumb vegetable.
Ox tails, absurdly overpriced now for what is objectively dirty meat, even if it is tasty when prepared properly
>>
Probably potato chips. There are like maybe 2 potatoes in a large bag and a cup of sneed oil.
>>
By ratio? Wine, without a doubt
Beef right now is outrageously overpriced
Cheese has historically been a lot of money for not much more improvement over mass produced garbage
Spaghetti sauce is up there, as is honey
>>
>>22245744
dubai chocolate
>>
>>22245744
Missing that lil nigga like you wouldnt believe
>>
>>22246714
Chips are the real answer considering that Frito Lay was just in the news for dropping the price from 7 dollars to 4 dollars for no reason, and then hiking it to $8 for no reason. Most hyperprocessed foods and goy slops are going to be high margin. Especially name brands.
>>
>>22246875
FORTUNE DIED????????
>>
>>22245744
Probiotic / prebiotic sodas, just flavored sugar water with a little liquid fart fuel in it

>>22246591
