We have several pet rabbits, as in litter box trained "house rabbits" with free run of our home. one of them will be 11 years old this spring. Walter knows his name, entertains himself, seeks us out for attention and is just a fun person.we also raise meat rabbits, butcher and eat them. we also breed and raise sheep. everyone gets a name. some are bottle raised in the house if rejected by mum. we also slaughter, butcher for food then skin & tan their hides.we compartmentalize.

>>22246604I never buy rabbit but your dish looks really good so I’d definitely have some>>22246879Are the pet rabbits the same breed as the meat rabbits? Sometimes wild rabbits come into my backyard and chomp on the grass and clover (which I don’t mind), unfortunately after a while I think they become eagle food
