In Europe, McDonald's is considered such a high-end luxury brand that they build restaurants over protected archeological ruins, as that is considered the same target audience
>>
>>22248816
> Target audience
> American tourists
>>
>>22248816
well more people are going to see the historical ruins there than if a museum was bult over it
>>
>>22248816
It's the only way we can get American tourists to see the ruins.
>>
>>22248816
Respect the dead .. these poor SOBs might not have been cooking spending their afterlife as a fucking mcdonalds decoration
>>
>>22248821
>>22248827
Nope, the target audience is the local Italians.
They see McDonald's as the same level as
Rolex or Lambos
>>
>>22248828
At least they won't be forgotten.
>>
>>22248816
The target audience is the people who live in those condos over there because those are the people you need to get in and out of your store multiple times a week.
People like quirky things like that. Locals and tourists alike would prefer this floor to a regular floor while eating their McMuffin.
>>
>>22248816
McDonald's is trying to sell food to protected archeological ruins?
>>
>>22248816
Are those genuine fucking skeletons?

not true, they bought the land to build the McD, while excavating they found that old graveyard thing, instead of destroying it like any other company has already done in Europe they went and got in contact with a museum to preserve the ruins, the skeletons were taken by the museum and replaced with the fake ones you see there, the real ones are still in the museum.
>>

irrelevant.

you do know you leave your body when you die, don't you?
>>
Good for upskirt cameras
>>
>>22249060
Whoa really what else happens when you die? When i died nothing happened so how do you know?
>>
>>22248816
imagine being dead and you spend your afterlife days looking at obese women upskirts for decades and decades
>>
>be hungry
>forced to walk over dead bodies
>no longer hungry
>>
>>22248898
Yes.
>>22248816
No. The same thing happens literally anytime we build anything. Excavation starts. Ruins and artifacts are discovered. They either get moved/relocated, the construction gets moved/relocated or the antiquities stay where they are and the spot becomes a makeshift museum with construction taking place over and/or around it.
This is what happens when you have several millennia of history rather than mere centuries.
If we let found ruins disrupt construction, we'd all be living in mud huts. ffs, the metro in Naples took forever because it kept finding Greek and Roman ruins and artifacts every few metres and they'd have to stop to excavate them safely. Many of them are now on display as part of the metro system and the Naples Metro is considered the most interesting and beautiful on earth as a result.
>>
>>22249146
Eh. Neapolitans are intimately acquainted with death. Doesn't bother us. We have what could more or less be considered parks where you can see centuries-or-even-millennia-old skeletons. In fact, we have a weird history of something like ancestor worship where we "adopt" an unknown dead person and offer them gifts and care for their crypts in exchange of them acting as go betweens between the carers and the the saints, the angels or even god himself, barely any different than ancestor worship traditions in the Far East.
While this McDonald's is in Rome, the idea is the same, less the ancestor worship tradition.

American females travel outside the US religiously, and consider travel photos they can post on tiktok or whatever more important than having children, thus leading to massive gap in the future workforce and sky-high divorce rates. Our race-traitor government has fully committed to replacing us with hindus and mexicans anyway, since American history, culture, religion, values, and language are all replaceable. None of it matters. The only thing that matters is numbers on plastic.

would be nice if they didn't, but here we are

To me, it seems even more sinister that they put fake bones instead of just leaving it empty. Maybe a plaque with the picture of the finding rather than recreate it?
>>
>>22248828
What?
I'd LOVE to have a busy restaurant built over my grave with glass separating.
Prevents me from being forgotten, I'm in the light and not in the dark and it brings closer the realm of the living and death. Lots of interesting things and people to see, letting me participate in their life a bit.
Disrespectful my ass.

thanks for finally solving and defeating the indian burial grounds argument. If you're no longer conscious in any capacity whether physical or spiritual, you can't be upset about your remains being turned into mcdonalds decorations long after the loss of your consciousness.

"You are said to be wise in these matters, Yama," said the one who had been called Rild and Sugata. "You are said to be a god, whose kingdom is death and whose knowledge extends beyond the ken of mortals. I would question you, therefore, while we are standing idle."

Yama did not smile his mocking smile, as he had to all his opponent's previous statements. This one had a touch of ritual about it.

"What is it that you wish to know? I grant you the death-boon of a question."

Then, in the ancient words of the Katha Upanishad, the one who had been called Rild and Sugata chanted:

"'There is doubt concerning a man when he is dead. Some say he still exists. Others say he does not. This thing I should like to know, taught by you.' "

Yama replied with the ancient words, "'On this subject even the gods have their doubts. It is not easy to understand, for the nature of the atman is a subtle thing. Ask me another question. Release me from this boon!'"

"'Forgive me if it is foremost in my mind, oh Death, but another teacher such as yourself cannot be found, and surely there is no other boon which I crave more at this moment.'"

"'Keep your life and go your way,'" said Yama, plunging his blade again into his sash. "'I release you from your doom. Choose sons and grandsons; choose elephants, horses, herds of cattle and gold. Choose any other boon—fair maidens, chariots, musical instruments. I shall give them unto you and they shall wait upon you. But ask me not of death.'"

"'Oh Death,' " sang the other, "'these endure only till tomorrow. Keep your maidens, horses, dances and songs for yourself. No boon will I accept but the one which I have asked—tell me, oh Death, of that which lies beyond life, of which men and the gods have their doubts.'"

Yama stood very still and he did not continue the poem. "Very well, Rild," he said, his eyes locking with the other's, "but it is not a kingdom subject to words. I must show you."

this reminds me of something creepy that happened to me at McDonalds once
I stopped going to McD for years but one day I was very hungry and there was nothing else close enough so I went inside and had a big Mac with fries, it was almost empty with not many people around, just me, a very old man, a lady and a security guard (because there's too many youngsters who love to cause problems around here), when I finished I went to use the restrooms to take a pee, and while I was there peeing someone put a hand on my shoulder and yanked me two times, the first thing that crossed my mind in a fraction of a second was "shit, that's it, I'm getting mugged today" and turned back expecting a knife pointed at me, but there was nothing, absolutely no one was with me. I finished and went outside, I saw the guard by the exit door and told him there was something weird going on in that restroom, he just told me "yeah, I know".

It's just another version of the Gaia Theory, in which our consciousness get broken up by worms and bacteria and incorporated into them. Then, small critters eat the worms etc and larger creatures eat the smaller critters until finally a human eats the animal, have a baby and part of your molecules/consciousness end up in the baby. The cycle then repeats.
>>
Of course it is considered a high-end luxury brand to them, it is an American creation. Europeans are absolutely obsessed with Americans.

No, they speak English, but the English dialect spoken in the US can be called AAVE, Yankee or Ebonics depending on the variation.
