what are some of your favorite ways to elevate instant ramen?
Just a soft boiled egg or two for me
>>22249149I just ate mine last night with peas and white onions. It was pretty good. I basically just put in whatever I have. I also only use half the packet and then add my own seasonings.
I’m going to try and make it with shrimp, stir-fried with jalapeno and cucumber in curry and fish sauce next.

Instant ramen threads are so comfy. I usually cook and eat pretty healthy, but I always keep Sapporo Ichiban in the pantry for a late night snack after drinking. It’s also perfect for adding whatever leftover ingredients you have so nothing goes to waste.

I throw the seasoninnig packet away and flavor it with real Asian seasoninnigs
>>22249149add curry, like Misato did in Eva
>>22249149The only thing that really elevates it for me was doing the miso paste mixed with a lot of diced garlic and a yolk or mayo and half the seasoning packet. Temper the paste before pouring the noodle water and don't use too much water.

I never understood these instant ramen e noodle boxes where you have to add boiling water + the powdered condiment and mix because I don't want to eat a soupy mess, what the fuck.I cook that shit the Italian way, so I cook the noodles in salty water until there's like 20% of residual starchy water, then I add the condiment and make a creamy sauce with flavour instead of eating washed down noodles that tastes like nothing because the broth doesn't stick to them.

>>22250253>noodles that tastes like nothing because the broth doesn't stick to them.this is because you did not elevate them. listen and learn
>>22249588Ignoring the reddit cuckpost and posting an actual answer, this. It isnt as good as leftover smoked brisket for upgrading cheap ramen but it is good. Completley unseasoned besides salt so I tend to pour the whole can into the broth to heat it up, so the broth flavors the meat and the juices and concealed fat upgrade the broth.
