Ive noticed videos where people can fit the mcdonalds fish in their hands.

Do one of these fill you up, or is it bullshit nowadays?

I hadn't noiced any changes for the longest time and then right around 2021 it suddenly shrunk like 25% or more. incredibly disappointing because making the food shitty is a much worse approach than raising the price. I'd pay an extra dollar for the rare occasion I want a McFoF, but now I don't ever want one.
>>

FPBP
McDonald's keeps shrinking the food and raising the prices. They deserve to go out of business.
I would rather pay a little more for good food than pay more for shitty food.
McDonald's needs to be bitchslapped for their greed and stupidity.

>I would rather pay a little more for good food than pay more for shitty food.
WHY ARE YOU BUYING FOOD AT THE SHITTY FOOD STORE?
>>
>>22251349
I don't. The food at McDonald's used to be good.
I no longer buy it, BECAUSE it's shit.
Are you retarded?
>>
>>22251336
>McDonald's keeps shrinking the food and raising the prices.
capitalism bruh
>>
mcdonalds food has been demonstrably the same size for decades despite schizophrenic zoomers trying to disprove it with a 3rd grade education and a 2nd grade attention span
>>
I got the $5 spicy mcchicken meal plus a free medium fries from the app. That's about all you can get now and feel good about what you paid for it.
>>
>>22251363
>same size
Bullshit.
Example:Big Mac...buns are noticably smaller, patties are smaller and thinner, lettuce is now shredded and less of it, etc..
Go back and look at family photos online. All the food is either smaller, of lower quality, or both.

There's no such thing as a McFish. Perhaps you're thinking of the McDonalds Filet-o-Fish? It's always been small, when I was a kid in the mid 70's I could fit one in my hand easily.
>>22251324
It got a bit larger in the mid 90's (acquiring a full slice of cheese as well) as part of the general upsizing trend at that time. I had one a few years ago and noticed it seemed to have gone back to its original size.
>>
>>22251363
>Who are you going to believe me or your lying eyes
>>
>>22251322
Have they gotten smaller I have no idea.
But they never filled me up.
You can get a double which is honestly quite nice. Still won't fill you up.
>>
>>22251393
It uses two 1/10th patties like it always has, you fucking retard.
>>
>>22251488
They used to use the "after cooking" weight.
Not the raw weight.
Nice cope though, faggot.
>>
>>22251488
They put water in the burger mix to keep it the same weight before cooking them. That's why the burgers all taste like shit now and are less greasy than they used to be. A lot of burger chains have been doing that for a couple of decades.

Don't believe me?

Try cooking your own 1:10 patties made from butcher supplied ground beef.
Then compare the after cooking weights of your patties and McDonald's patties.
It's a notable difference.
>>
I wouldn't know because I'm not mentally ill enough to order a fish sandwich from a fast food place
>>
>>22251393
>Go back and look at family photos online.
People used to be much smaller. The obesity epidemic makes food appear tiny in comparison.
>>
>>22251519
they've always used the raw weight because of the impossibility of guaranteeing the weight of a cooked patty due to cooking variables, just like every other burger restaurant in history.
>>
>>22251519
>They used to use the "after cooking" weight.
No they didn't, retarded fucking zoomer. Do you know how impossible that would be?

Looks like they call it McFish in bongland as this is from McDonald's UK site.
>>
>>22251322

It stops scales?!?
>>
>>22251322
shrinkflation affects everything.
>>
>>22252325
You don't know how much the after-cooking weight will be before you cook it.
>>
>>22251529
That seems to be the equivalent of putting your thumb on the scale.
>>
>>22251322
you've just gotten bigger
>>
Something something, food corporations deserve more money because of inflation

yes

>>
>>22252540
Given that any retard can make $20/hr at a McJob now, yeah, things are gonna cost more. You want 1950s prices, accept 1950s pay.
>>
>>22252711
In the 50s, someone pumping gas could support a family of four and buy a house on a single min. wage income.
>>
>>22252963
In 1950, a third of US houses didn't have indoor plumbing. You can still raise a family of 4 on a 1950s lifestyle with a shitty clerk job. But you don't want that. You want a century of medical advances, a new iPhone every year, and two cars in the garage of your massive 1500 square foot house.
>>
>>22252968
I don't want any of those things, but go off queen.
>>
Over and over and over again thousands of threads about this minute bullshit.

Fast food only costs a few dollars. If it's not big enough, buy another one. Fucks sakes this is a non issue you guys bitch about day after day for decades.

No the 90s wasn't great or early 2000s because you can get nearly everything you bought at taco bell or McDonald's back then now. Pointless spam thread.
>>
>>22252369
>22252325 (You) #
You don't know how much the after-cooking weight will be before you cook it.

Disregard that i suck mcnuggets

>You can still raise a family of 4 on a 1950s lifestyle with a shitty clerk job.

Riiight
>>
>>22251928
Looks like that is a kids version of it. There is no way they actually have a filet with ketchup and not tartar, right?
>>
>>22251322
Every fast food burger/sandwich is smaller.
>>
>>22252968
>You can still raise a family of 4 on a 1950s lifestyle with a shitty clerk job.
Yeah....

It varies by country. Some use tartar sauce but some use ketchup.
>>
>>22255514
>some use ketchup
Blasphemy.
>>
>>22255543
If they're gonna call it McFish then fuck it, go on and use ketchup.
>>
>>22252968
The median home price in the 50s was less than half what it is now (adjusted for inflation) you lying piece of shit.
>>
>>22255599
He straight up said 1/3 didn't have indoor plumbing. I live in a house from the 50's, it literally had 2 original electrical circuits, no insulation, no AC, 800 sqft of living space, and a furnace that was originally produced to burn fucking coal (converted to oil)... Yes they cost less you dumbass, they had fucking less than half the stuff in them as horses do today. Go back and read the post you replied to: he's right.
>>
>>22251322
I always get a Double Filet o' Fish whenever I'm in the mood for one. The traditional single patty just isn't substantial enough.
>>
>>22251928
>ketchup
Seriously? Is there any food the bongs won't ruin? I guess we should just be thankful they didn't dump baked beans and mushy peas all over it like they do with everything else.
>>
>>22255933
What's the problem of ketchup for a burger? Not even americans are this anal.
>>
>>22255940
Ketchup on fish is gross. It's either got to be tartar sauce or some kind of lemon aioli for a sandwich like this.
>>
>>22251928
That’s crazy this is only 260 calories without the tartar sauce and cheese slice, that’s about as much as a 6 piece McNugget, a small french fry, or the original burger.
>>
I didn’t grow up eating fast food so I’m going to try my first Big Mac later this week. Will it be a life changing experience?
>>
>>22251322
Almost everything has shrunk since covid, fucking corporate bullshit.
