Why did the goose go out of favor? We don't even eat it for Christmas.
>>
>>22252145
They intimidated us and won...and now prowl our college campuses and business parks, harassing anyone they want.
>>
>>22252145
Overly fatty and large. Duck is better.

sounds like a personal issue you fucking loser

Enough about you. What about the goose?
>>
>>22252145
The one time I made it, it was super tough
Duck is better

Way to out yourself for sucking at cooking dipshit.
>>
Gooses are too big, too fatty, and too difficult to cook. It's much easier to cook any of the other three eating birds.
>>
>>22252208
.>too big, too fatty
yes, you are
>>
We might as well eat them as long as we need their livers.
>>
>>22252215

Are you retarded?
Goose is EASY to cook, if you have a functional brain.

I agree with the kid. Stop talking about yourself is such a disrespectful manner. I'm 48 and even I think you're a fucking moron.

Chickens replaced them.
>>
>>22252159
They are both trash. People in first world countries don't eat either one.

Mods, the 15 year old won't stop posting
He's obviously stupid and his idea of cooking is microwaving a hot pocket

Ortolan, pheasant, and what's the third?

Most people don't hunt anymore.
>>
>>22252834
You must not live in the Midwest or a rural area
>>
>>22252877
Most people live in a midwest rural area? Even most of those people don't hunt.
>>

I've never been harassed by or even seen an aggressive goose. There's usually a lot of geese hanging around my mailbox and they get out of my way when I check the mail. I'm beginning to think this aggressive goose thing is all made up.

Geese are farmyard animals. Farms with yards (small family farms) disappeared. Same goes for proper duck, goat, pigeon and rabbit varieties. You can still find generic stuff in some regions, but the real deal is long gone. Try finding an Emden goose, muscovy duck, witte from Dendermonde (rabbit, Belgium), Anjou pigeon, Capra Bionda dell'Adamello (goat) or even Mangalica cutlet (farm yard pig, Hungary). These used to be everywhere, people just fed them their leftovers, they were dirt cheap. Today you need a specialised butcher which caters to Michelin restaurants (and pay a fortune).

My grocery store has goose, but it's almost a 80 dollars.

Goose isn't that nice
Duck is better
Pheasant and partridge are my favourite eating birds, along with the humble chicken

>Why did the goose go out of favor?
Waterfowl taste like pond water.
I know most of you Taco Bell taste buds tier retards can't notice, but they taste like shit. Might as well spend the exact same energy to raise and prepare chickens or turkeys to not have the final result taste like fetid algae.
