Italian-American food >>> authentic Italian foodThe "real deal" is just tasteless and bland in comparison
>>22253039Not quite true. Americans only have low quality dogshit produce and third world level food standards.
>>22253039Pasta, what's more to say?Add in and sauce, some greb, some protein, garlic, also some bread on the side that's roasty with garlic and olive oil.Mhm it's tasty Italin food, yeah I think you can eat it for real tasty.
>>22253048
>>22253039That's right, OP.
>>22253069Why do americans need straws to drink water?
same story with chinese food and mexican food if you're being honest with yourself
>>22253069How come americans never mix their pasta with the sauce lol
>>22253118Anyone who isn’t a cooklet does. These are just silly restaurants that usually don’t stay open long.
>>22253130I see it all the time
>>22253118Americans believe in freedom and that means the freedom of choice to choose whether you want your pasta with or without the sauce. Sometimes its better to eat the pasta and the sauce separately
>>22253118This way you can sop up the sauce with the bread
>>22253133That’s because there a lot of cooklets in America who live off processed food. I can’t blame some of them because they grew up in literal food deserts where only fried food restaurants, dollar and liquor stores are nearby. Some grocery stores refuse to open in places like this because they fear the population and crime is rampant.
>>22253145>literal food desertsThis is defined as a census tract at or below 80% of median income with no grocery store within a mile. You can just walk 1.2 miles to a store in so-called "food deserts". And why would the income of the area determine whether it is a desert? Ask yourself that .
>>22253147Who the hell wants to walk 1.2 miles, which is lowballing in my city, with a cart full of groceries, while hungry drug addicts and criminals stare you down like you’re a walking lick, every time you need to go the grocery store?
>>22253152damn so america really is third world
>>22253158Ya, some parts are really fucking shitty. I’d say about 30% of my city is like this. Some parts of that 30% are a lot worse than others. Homeless drug addicts are fucking up a lot of it, but so are the hoodlums who reside there. Even in some of the nicer parts you’ll find homeless junkies scattered around. I was walking one night with my mother through our neighborhood, which is one of the more affluent ones, and she got scared because a treacherous looking vagabond popped out of a bush in the middle of the night. This is partly due to the motels that are nearby my suburb, which are notorious for drug dealing, prostitution, etc.
>>22253039I loved the Italislop that my Sicilian friend used to make. Then they got divorced so the family I used to hang out with no longer existed
>>22253068Dear Lord.
>>22253048>and third world level food standards.I wish, I live in a major 3rd world shithole and American food standards make it basically import to anything from there.
>>22253118>>22253138It's a commonplace practice to industrial kitchens to deal with that 1/100 person who doesn't eat the sauce.
>>22253039The enduring success of Fazoli's is a testament to this.
>>22254219kind of a stretch to call it a success. it's telling they never had any foothold in parts of the country where there's actual italian ancestry
>>22253039Only central Italy has decent food.Southern Italy is cheap seafood, often poorly incorporated with pasta because anything more would require planning and multitasking from those lazy fucks, then seasoned with olive oil and basic bitch spices.Northern Italy it creamed slop.
>>22253039>The "real deal" is just tasteless and bland in comparisonDoesn't any food tastes bland when you're on diet of industrially processed addtives, syrup and fats?
>>22254425Sorry, but if you're writing off arancini, the pride of Sicily, then you're just an idiot.
>>22254563this is probably the worst arancini i've ever seen. you shouldn't be proud of making it if you did
>>22254563Why is there 3 peas?
>>22254977*Why are there 3 peas?
>>22255069wire their three peas?*
I love Italian-American food.
Italian American food is probably better tbqhfamalam
>>22255973American-Italian food is not bad, but it's too fatty for my taste.
>>22253039"Tasteless" is not a synonym for "flavorless", ESL freak.
>>22256001Are you the schizo who tried to change the meaning of Umami and Savory?
>>22253133this is egregious. just slopping on the top is bad enough but side by side? have mercy
>>22256005Find something tall and jump.
>>22256011Funny how it hurts when it hits home.
