Just tried a Tim Tam for the first time. Are these actually Australia's favorite cookie? They're not bad, but they definitely taste cheap, and they do that annoying thing where they have to describe their coating as "Chocolatey" instead of "Chocolate" because it fails to meet the ingredient standards of Chocolate. As an American, I was perfectly fine with Oreo's calling themselves America's favorite cookie, and would have actually felt bad if some cookie like those sawdust-flavored Original Chips Ahoy made that claim. Are Tim Tams something Australians actually take pride in?
>>22253806Yes Aussies take pride in the Tim Tam. Did you try a Tim Tam Slam? I see Tim Tams in my grocery stores european aisle (I know that Australia isn't in Europe before some 70 IQ eurobrown starts crying at me) but I feel like they wouldn't be worth eating.
>>22253812>Did you try a Tim Tam Slam?It looks like something girls would get paid to be filmed doing.
we have so many elite cookies your trolling attempt at one specific variety seems rather trivial and pathetic.
>>22253825I'm just repeating what it says on the packaging.
>>22253828of course you are, mutt
>>22253829Is that some sort of aussie slang for non-criminals?
>>22253834why don't you ask the packaging to reveal it's wisdom for you?
>>22253836I opened up the package and saw your mom's pussy was inside.
>>22253855you smell like piss.
>>22253806Slam
>>22253855That would explain the 0.5 star rating.
>>22253806I haven't had one in a while but last time I remember also thinking that they tasted a bit cheap>Are Tim Tams something Australians actually take pride in?We don't really treat our food like that. I would never say to a foreigner that they should try lamingtons as if it is some true blue Aussie experience. Yeah you could eat a sausage roll with tomato sauce washed down with a farmer's union iced coffee but it's not some delicacy, our food isn't all that good or interesting.
>>22253980we're talking about cookies ya dopey cunt
>>22253806Timtams are an Aussie version of the British chocolate "Penguin" brand biscuits. Penguin predates Timtams by around 30 years. Most of our cookies/biscuits are just copies of older UK brands. Much like Vegemite is a copy of Marmite. The quality of Timtams overall is probably higher than Penguin biscuits, and they are more expensive. But it's still supermarket boomer slop. Nobody should eat it regularly.
for me, it's Kooka's
>>22253806theyre fine but not amazing, think the quality dropped over time too
>>22253806>>22253828I'd sooner trust a (albeit limited) local survey then one from a US market research grouphttps://www.canstarblue.com.au/groceries/biscuits-cookies/
>>22254078this list is straight up retarded
>>22253812>Did you try a Tim Tam Slam?I just tried it, and it was pretty excellent. They weren't kidding about how quickly they disintegrate when you do it. You only have a brief moment between sucking the hot liquid through before the whole falls apart, so you have to cram the whole thing in your mouth as part of one perfect sequence of dip-suck-gobble.
>>22254359>dip-suck-gobbleYou just had to, didn't you?
>>22253997Marmite is a bit better than Vegemite but timtams are WAY better than penguins
>>22254078this list is not in touch with reality but monte carlos are pretty good
>>22253836>it is wisdom
>>22253815The wikihow artist knew exactly what they were doing.
>>22254507Is that what you think?
>>22254688>Square jaw>Big handsYeh probably a self portrait
