How do I make burgers that taste like Mcdonalds at home?
>>
>>22254527
American McDonalds, European McDonalds, Indian McDonalds... which on my friend?
>>
>>22254529
American my man
>>
do you fry your buns
>>
>>22254531
>American my man
Then it'll be hard. Let's begin with the oil you'll need to fry stuff, you'll need to mix the following, 1:1:1:1 should get close enough.
>Canola oil
>Corn oil
>Soybean oil
>Hydrogenated soybean oil
Then you'll need to add
>Tert-Butylhydroquinone (TBHQ)
>Citric Acid
>Dimethylpolysiloxane
And finally you'll need to add
>A proprietary "Natural Beef Flavor" to the oil used in the fries
Beef tallow should be close enough since Mcdonalds in the US used it until the 90s.

Then for Mcdonalds bread, we start with "Enriched Flour", US standard, that includes:
>Niacin
>Went thought a reducing iron process
>Thiamine mononitrate,
>Riboflavin
>Folic acid
>Somtimes malted barley flour
Riboflavin is illegal is most countries, but it should change the flavor by much. You mix this flour with:
>Water
>Yeast
>High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) 6% of total recipe weight
>Soybean Oil, 3% of recipe weight
Then you add some addtives to the bread:
>Extra wheat gluten
>Dough Conditioner (ascorbic acid and monoglycerides mostly)
>Vegetable Protein Glaze
And finally:
>Sesame seeds

Meat is the easy part, just get the cheapest cut that can be legally sold, grind it three times in a standard machine, add a bit of salt and pepper and freeze it.

Burgers must be fried oil Mcdonald's tier oil while frozen.
>>
>>22254551
>Riboflavin is illegal is most countries
where did you pull this bullshit inaccuracy from?
>>
>>22254570
My bad, the processing to reduce iron content is illegal.

Now for the cheese, you'll need a mixture of cheese and other ingredients to make it have that special texture and taste. First we start with:
>Kraft-like cheese, often called American cheese, a cheese like product. (60%)
Then we add:
>non-dairy creamer (NDC)
>water
>some enzymes
>some extra salt
Then we add some addtives:
>Sodium citrate
>Citric acid, Lactic acid, or Acetic acid, I'd go with citric ccid
>Sorbic acid
>Soy lecithin
>Coloring, I'd go with annatto

For vegetables, it's easier, some of them are you standard semi-fresh you get with your groceries:
>Shredded lettuce
>Roma tomatoes
>Slivered onions, but only on premium burgers
For standard burgers we place the fresh slivered onions with dehydrated onions, the pickles are quite natural, being made with:
>Cucumbers
>Brine
>Calcium chloride
>Alum
>Common preservatives
>Turmeric (Color)
So, store pickles should do the trick.

For the most common sauces, we have some quite common recipes, for ketchup:
>Tomato Paste
>Distilled vinegar.
>High fructose corn syrup and corn syrup: Two different types of corn sweeteners used.
>Water
>Salt
>Flavors
I think that buying some ketchup and adding HFCS and CS will do the trick.;

Finally for the soda, it's pretty much the same, but you'll add 8% of the weight in HFCS and increase carbonation by a quarter, if possible, to raise to McDonald's standards.

I'm a bit rust, but this should be how you get an American McDonald's quarter pound with autenthic taste.

Sorry if I missed something or got a few things wrong, it has ages since I worked with this sort of stff.
>>
What a stupid thread
>>
>>22254732
What made you upset on this thread?
>>
Get one of those instant microwave burgers and reheat them,I can only give you advice on how to make good burgers
>>
>>22254539
None of that is in the meat. It's literally just beef with lots of salt.
>>
>>22254527
The whole point of making your own burgers is that they may taste BETTER than shitty McFood.

WTF? Your priorities are wrong.
>>
>>22254579
>hurr, mcdonalds cheese is just a kraft single with chemicals
I think your posts would align better in the AI butter faggot thread
>>
>>22254954
>None of that is in the meat.
The post is saying this goes in the oil, if you can't read in English, use some translation tool.
>>
>>22254993
You should be praising me for learning it so well.
>>
>>22254994
Do you want to praised for reading a post in which the 13th word is "oil" and you failed to get it?

Sure, you're so smart anon, you read the first 12 words so well.
>>
>>22254987
It's 60% American "cheese", 38% a mixture of NDC, water, enzymes and salt, and 2% addtives.

Why does this makes you upset?
>>
>>22254527
Why would you do that to yourself? Just make a burger that tastes good instead.

>>22254562
>Meat is the easy part, just get the cheapest cut that can be legally sold
It has to be from a decade-old dairy cow, also.

The last time I went to McD's (other than for Egg McMuffins, which are GOAT) was in 2011 when I'd been running errands all day without any time to get anything to eat until around 3pm and was so fucking starving that I went to the first place I could find. I remember fat dripping out of the burger onto the table and instantly congealing, because it was that fucking saturated.
>>
>>22254551
>Niacin
>Thiamine
>Riboflavin
>Folic acid
Fucking hell I've never even heard of any of these additive chemicals, American food is terrifying

I tried paying attention to which specific steak I was buying for the first time when I went to LIDL today, is the marbling on this steak in the middle what I’m looking for? I bought it and another one to compare later this week - I think I found an absolute banger but I suspect I’ve landed in a fool’s gold situation
>>

Patrician taste.

Do you want to make a good burger or a McDonald style burger?
>>
>>22255909
Pretty hard to find flour with vitamins, specially with the doses in this recipe.

Your country probably just lists them as vitamins.
>>
>>22255909
Those are vitamins, and lods of countries add them to food. The tricky bit is getting the right amount for this.
>>
>>22255909
>Europeans all have vitamin deficiencies
Makes sense. Explains quite a bit.
>>
>>22256063
This post is so wrong in so many ways it has to be bait.
