You clearly haven't eaten one in the last 20 years. That's about the last time they were good.

Why are you afraid of a little pepperoni?

They're just as shitty-good as they used to be, your taste buds might have finally gone totally blank.

I haven't had one in at least 20 years. I remember them being good. I guess I'll never have one again so as not to spoil the memory.

this was discontinued for the "rising crust" variety which are always bad frozen

I actually like buying the thin crust pepperoni, removing the pepperoni then adding spinach, black olives, pepperoncini, then a layer of cheese on top of it all.

>>22267123
This, but supreme and microwaved using my special technique that only I know about.

You retards who add toppings to frozen pizza might be the worst people on the earth
>>
>>22267716
Props for laying em all on the side. My grocery store has em all standing upright for optimal presentation but the dispersal of the toppings definitely suffers
>>

What's the big deal? It doesn't take much effort and it improves the pizza substantially.

Tonic trouble
>>
>>22267732
The recipe got changed but it's still no worse for it and the square shape is just better, makes it crispier. Get outta here with your bad opinions.
>>
>>22267945
It is absolutely objectively worse. They used to use real cheese now it's all imitation cheese. And the circular shape was better because you got more crispy edge cheese bites which were the best part.

Don't get me wrong, I still get them from time to time (and add some real cheese of my own), but you're delusional if you think they're as good as they used to be. Or more likely you're a lying-ass zoomie who never had the real thing.
>>
>>22268077
I wrote out a big long thing describing in detail what they changed and I fat fingered esc right when I finished so I'm double frustrated.
Used to buy these things ten at a time back in my college days for less than ten bucks. God I miss them.
The cheese is grainy fake vegan cheese, the pepperoni is half filler doesn't even crisp up. It's fucking shit and the shill trying to say otherwise is a liar damned to hell.
>>
>>22267809
That is just big restaurant shilling. A $1 can of jalapenos or banna pepers can make a shit tier frozen pizza a little more bearable
>>
>>22268077
You get more crispy edge cheese bites with a rectangle than with a circle, retard. A circle is the least possible amount of crispy edge you can get in a pizza. The closer you get to a circle, the more area in ratio to perimeter you get. A pizza that is a circle will have the least amount of crispy edge compared to the amount of pizza you get possible. Anyway your poor math skills aside, they taste just as good and your boyfriend here >>22268083
is just as wrong.
>>
>>22268083
>The cheese is grainy fake vegan cheese
guess that’s why it always turns into a solid crust instead of melting
>>
>>22267752
That is in a state up north where blizzards can block the roads for weeks so lots of people just stock up on frozen pizza to feed the family simply
>>
>>22268083
They still used some fake cheese back in the day but more real cheese than fake so they could kinda hide it. Now you have to add your own cheese or they are not good at all.
>>
>>22268091
>You get more crispy edge cheese bites with a rectangle than with a circle, retard.
Nope, not with Totino's. They cut the rectangles out from a long line on a conveyor belt so the edges that got cut don't form a proper crust, it's just "cheese" all the way to the edge. The circles had a proper crust all the way around.
>they taste just as good
So you're admitting that you think fake cheese is just as good as real cheese, got it. Imagine admitting to being a tastelet so freely. Maybe dude is right, you are actually a shill.
>>
>>22268104
You still get a crust when you cook the rectangles, it's just a cheesy crust and again, with more area for the crust. That shit there is just fucking burnt, you'd have to be a giga-tastelet to prefer that over more cheesy crust with the new ones.
>so you're
Saying that it still tastes as good? Yeah. It's a bottom-barrel frozen pizza, I'm sure it's less healthy for you than it used to be but it still tastes as fine. You're letting nostalgia blind you like an idiot just like you don't know anything about the way pizza crust works. But you prefer blackened burned charcoal crust so there's no accounting for taste here.
>>
>>22268115
>You still get a crust when you cook the rectangles
The parts that they cut are not as good though, retard.
>That shit there is just fucking burnt
That's the only picture I could find on Google. It's not like I can hop into a time machine and show you how I used to make them.
>Saying that it still tastes as good?
It doesn't though. You are wrong. But you just don't know any better. You poor fool.
>>
Can't believe an honest to god General Mill's middle manager found his way to this thread and is desperately fighting to shill his companies frankenslop.
Either that or he's an underage who never experienced life before 9/11. Probably both if we're being honest.
>>
>>22268118
They are better as cheesy crust than as cheeseless crust. You are a tastelet retard that doesn't understand the way basic shapes work and is blinded by nostalgia. I'm happy you're malding that your favorite shitty pizza got taken away from you because it's better now. This is just a back and forth now about you not knowing how circle area works and not having functioning taste buds so this is my last reply, have a nice day charcoal crust eater.

Sadly this anon is correct. When this first came it out, it was amazing. I would have taken it over almost any chain pizza place, but at some point they started skimping out on toppings, changed the sauce and even the crust. It is a totally different pizza now

You've clearly never had an orange hrn frozen cheese pizza. You cook of one of these bad Larrys for 25 minutes (untill it becomes orange) and you have a 8$ masterpiece.

Maybe a week ago I tried a Buddy's frozen pizza, got it at Meijer.
Very yeasty smell when it's baking, reminds me of my grandma making pizza.

Pretty tasty, but next time I'll get the one with only pepperoni (no sausage).

I tried these a few weeks ago and the first came out uncooked yeasty and the second came out bland and dry. Only a few minutes difference between them
>>
This was on sale and the name made me laugh so I tried it. Smaller than a Red Baron, the crust was boring, the cheese and sauce acceptable but the "devil" pepperoni was excellent though just spicy enough to wish it was spicier. Won't try again.

Often imitated, never duplicated. The price is right to throw two in the freezer but if I want anything more, I may as well pop over to Little Caesar's or do it right at the local. Everyone posting in this thread is a King.

>>
>>22272771
I tried this brand once, and it had a crazy chemical smell while in the oven.
The "pan" it's in is some kind of paperboard with a black slick coating. It must have been coming from that.

The pizza smelled fainltly like it afterwards. I tossed it out. Can't eat something if my nose tells me not to.
>>
>>22267327
The texture where the sauce meets the crust is a lot more mushy and mealy than it used to be.

its so easy to make your own pizzas from scratch and they taste elite restaurant quality when baked in a home oven with a pizza steel.
i make a batch of six doughs in 5 mins, and get them cold fermenting in the fridge and take one out when needed.
i can make and launch a pizza in 5 mins, and each pizza costs about a dollar or two tops.
>>
>>22272930
the price was indeed right today. got 2 for $6. makes me think back to like a month ago when I got 2 pizzas delivered for $35. I’m a real goober sometimes.

But somehow Screamin Sicilian tastes worse

Speaking of shitty frozen pizza, this is pizza from the uk's favorite bakery, Gregg's
It looks like a Red Baron pizza that's been sitting around for a couple hours
Embarrassing
>>
>>22273638
somehow the detroit motor style is even worse than that
>>
>>22267123
All the dispute over Screamin Sicilian. I wonder if there's a difference in how the pizzas taste depending on where you eat it. What's the thing about bagels and bread only tastes good on the east coast because of the water? I was fighting for my life on /tv/ defending Pop Secret as a quality microwave popcorn and I think it's because the higher elevation of my state makes it pop lighter.
>>
>>22273638
I tried it for the first time recently and it was pretty good, particularly the toppings. I wouldn't buy it again though.
>>
>>22273655
I never made microwaved popcorn again after I discovered how easy it was to make movie theater equivalent popcorn at home.
>>
>>22273660
do you shake it around in a frying pan
>>
>>22273661
a ~1 gallon stainless pot with the lid cracked... the real secret to making it good however other than flavacol is to add like twice as much butter flavored coconut oil as a typical recipe calls for.
>>
>>22273660
I know people love it. I have a whirly pop myself. Much like frozen pizza, however, sometimes I just prefer to have Pop Secret on-hand and sometimes I just prefer it. Sorry for derailing, there is important frozen pizza matters to discuss.
