Blue Ash Chili in Cincinnati has a pickle coney, they call it the Dill Dog. Has chili, cheese and coleslaw along with the pickle. I love it. I get two of those when I go now so I can experience the double dill dog.

I enjoy pickle a lot but it's at its best when it's a crunchy contrast and palate cleanser between sandwich bites. I usually have two large pickle spears with any sandwich I eat, but I wouldn't replace the bread because the bread is tasty too and part of what makes the sandwich.
The people who order this are the same retards who put the pickled ginger on their sushi.
