>less ingredients are LE BETTER!

it must suck being a poor european. In the US, I can afford to add some Swiss cheese and toast the bread. That would bankrupt an average euro for a week.
>>
>>22269376
I think Muslims can only eat butter if it's prepared a certain way.

Rent free.

For me I use prosciutto or Spanish ham, no butter, provolone or mozzarella, some basil leaves, a crackle of black pepper, and a drizzlette of olive oil.

Meanwhile half of europe is being burned down by muslims. It's not going to get better for you.

They're usually eaten with cornichons.

Also you have three meals a day to eat your veggies and shit, you will survive one meal without them. Americans eat burgers with alibi vegetables too, so don't make a fuss about that.

A nice cafe near me has a jambon-beurre, but they add emmanteler cheese and the butter is shallot butter. I think that it is quite nice.

There is no such thing as "pasteurized processed butter food", dumbass. Margarine is clearly labeled as a vegetable oil mixture. There is plenty of good butter in the USA, fuckhead. Definitely not an American

baguette has a thick crust and the crumb is chewy with big air bubbles like picrel. good banh mi bread is crispy and airy and can be easily flattened against the ingredients because the interior is very soft, nothing about it should be thick or chewy.

Not Margarine or a Margarine + Butter combo. A lot of brands will take butter and cut it with oil to make it more spreadable while cold.

Here is the list of butter types:
1. Margarine (just seed oil emulsified)
2. Butter + Oil (spreadable butter)
3. Compound Butter (butter + seasonings)
4. Unsalted Butter
5. Salted Butter (butter + salt)
6. Cultured Butter (fermented butter)

European butter is typically grass fed cow milk turned into butter. Full fat, typically more yellow.

American butter is corn fed cow milk turned into butter, so it's lighter in color. You can still get various full fat grass fed butter in America though, it just gets an upcharge.

The European vs American distinction came up due to the whole corn fed vs grass fed obsession.
>>
>>22269719
Margarine is French anyway.

>European butter is typically grass fed cow milk turned into butter.
Naah man, most of it is fed from corn and south american soy. Some countries pride themselves on having better butter (france, ireland) and the share of grass fed butter is probably higher there, but most butter in europe isn't.
>>
>>22270747

>>
>>22269365

>>
>>22270616
It's 80% fat minimum for butter in the USA but 82% minimum in EU. It's not so much that they're removing the fat but just not removing as much water.

Don't listen to any of the retards who replied to you before this.
"European style butter" is just 83% or more butterfat. In contrast, the minimum requirement in American butter is 80%.
That's it. That's the only difference.

This anon is especially retarded: >>22270597
Butter is not allowed to be adulteradted in the US and still be called butter. If it's called butter, then it's 100% butter. It will just hace a slightly lower butterfat content.
