>>22270185I wish my part of the country got it at fucking all
>>22270251that's actually a very sharp-eyed observation anon. I, for one, enjoy both of these things

>>22270257>Jew Yorkers have never experienced a McRib
>>22270274Rhode Island
>>22270275no, the one by Union Square had it a few years ago. but not since then
They are not good when used in a sexual manner meaning I don't really care about them
It's a square hamburger with McDonalds normal barbecue sauce. Maybe they put a little extra liquid smoke on the patty, but that's it.
>>22270338>It's a square hamburgerit's not beef so it it is not a hamburger
>>22270185I had ribs yesterday and I forgot to add pickles and raw onions to them :(
>>22270340and it’s not a square, it’s a rectangle
>>22270372you’re lucky you’re not my mother. she’d get 40 lashings for a careless mistake like that
>>22270372McRib doesn't contain any ribs
The mcrib was never good.
Soon they'll discontinue the humble McRib from the permanent menu here in Germoney
>>22270185>Not made by an Irish man>Not a ribFalse adversing at its best

>>22270257Why would they ignore the most densely populated part of the country? Lots of customers there. Seems crazy to me
>>22270185I have never had a McRibI am a 46 year old American male. 5'10, 155lb
>>22270457sad on all counts
>>22270185it is, without a doubt, THE worst McDonald's item I had ever tastedI don't know if the european version differs a lot from the US but I could stomach swallowing a single fucking bitepossibly the most overhyped fast food item in existence
>>22270185>What do (you) think of the McRib?i think it's funny that people are finally suing mcd's for the mcrib not having rib meat.
>>22270384all squares are rectangles.
>>22270185I hate the McDonalds execution of the mic rib but I cant help but be fascinated by it. I had one in like 2004 once. Sauce to soo sweet and I hated it. But still. I think the concept has legs and for a few years now i have been daydreaming about a sandwich I call " InfiniRib" . A home processed, ground, and blended pork run though a custom extruder apperatus so delicious micrib style patties can be constructed in a perpetual fashion in and length required. I thought it would just remain a dream but with the current state of 3d printing I think will make my home extruder possible so a 10 foot long Micrb may be back on the menu. Although there are still many problems to solve. This is my most pointless and retarded idea. No idea why. I dont even like fast food. Idk. Infinirib
if the execution of the mcrib is too hard for you guys to create a diy better version, then theres no hope for you.
>>22270619appearances can be deceiving, some things are harder than they look. the folx at McDonalds have been whipping them up for decades. I’ve never done it in my life and I have performance anxiety.
>>22270185Ive never had it but I assume its horrible. And I really like the double quarter pounder. It looks like cafeteria food
>>22270185Nothing
>>22270185I've never tried it
>>22270185It's tolerable. Barely.I can literally get the same crap at a grocery store and stick it in a bun myself for way cheaper.I have no idea why people make a big deal out of it.
Forgot the pic.
>>22270764ScarcetyMcDs for some reason puts the McRib in the vault and only offers it for limited time from time to time. They now try to pull the same BS in Germany where it was a standard menu item (was it always available in other Yurop countires as well?) too. There already ave been several petitions. Let's see how it turns out.
>>22270185Back when I lived in Connecticut, we never got it, but there was a local sandwich chain called Nardelli's that did a superior version so I just got that instead.
>>22270185it's really not that good. i'd rather get a double quarter pounder with cheese.
>>22270340A McChicken is a pink slurry of bones, marrow, tendons, organs, cartilage, and preservatives, so I don't know why you would think a McRib contains any pork. It is an ultra processed amalgamation of ingredients, pushed through a playdough extruder into a shape vaguely resembling ribs. I mean, a McRib has no bones but it is pressed into the shape of something wih bones. It has the same exact texture of a BigMac hamburger for this very reason. The most significant aspect of its flavor profile is McDonalds barbecue sauce, which you can get any day of the year. From the point of view of a mega corporation always looking to cut costs, to the point where they don't even really serve real meat anymore, I think it's clear the McRib just a normal ass hamburger rebranded as something else.
>>22271319does it really matter if it just tastes so damn good, anon?
>>22270257The stouffer's backyard BBQ tv dinner is the exact same as a mcrib. Tastes the exact same. Probably made in the same damn factory. Buy one and put it on a damn bun, you shitlick.
>>22270185Every year I get at least one knowing I will not like it, and I don't like it.
>>22271337i dont understand people who let their fingers touch their mouth or eat the part of the food their fingers touched
>>22272341you dont eat the bun of a burg?
>>22270452eastern PA around Philly and NYC have wawa and sheetz. I assume mcdonalds in general has poor sales anywhere with a luxury gas station nearby. idk about further north.
I don't like pickles on my sandwiches :/
>>22270185The McRib is a pressed pork mince patty that is shaped kind of like you would get from a set of baby back ribs if you pulled the bones out, but not as wide and flat of course. It's covered in slather of bbq sauce, and adorned with some raw onions and a few token bleh pickles. You used to be able to get these types of sandwiches from the frozen food section of the grocer. Haven't seen them in a long while though. Assuming the local franchise doesn't cuck you, which hahaha good luck, it's going to be a mid experience. If you get cucked it's terrible. I think it could be better if the patty was spiced better and had a bit more pork fat in it. It's too lean and is missing pork flavor as a result. Overall you are better off making pulled pork at home. Similar experience, but you can season the pork and use better bbq.
>>22272341Most of us don't wipe our asses with our bare hands, rajesh. And on top of that, most of us wash our fucking hands (with soap and clean water) after we take a shit. Mind-blowing concept, I know.
>>22270765>>22270764This. Why is everyone so retarded?
>>22272341Usually they wash their hands before eating.
>>22271319The mcribib "meat" has a completely different texture than the micron-thick bugmac patty
