Too unhealthy for regular consumption./fgt/ - Fatty General Thread
I tried refrigerating the dough overnight but it just overproofed and got dense when I baked it. Do I not add yeast before putting it in the fridge and add it after?
>>22270494Breadlet here but no, that wouldn’t work. Do you know what temp it is inside your fridge? What recipe did you use?

I actually invented bread
>>22271556Hi, I invented sliced bread. Nice to meet you.
>>22270721>>22270494that should be ok but 6g of dried/instant yeast for 350g of flour is a lot of yeast. if you are going to be putting it in the fridge overnight, do so after you have kneaded the dough and use cold water,so that the dough temp is low and it takes longer for the yeast to activate. if you have a warm dough going in the fridge or the yeast has been working in the dough for an hour already then your yeast will be too active for the long period of prooving.
