/ck/ I need your favourite meal prep recipes to take to work during the week please!Ideally ones that freeze well too. I have a slow cooker so slow cooker recipes are ok :) I need to stop spending so much fuckin money eating out so any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!!!
>soaking wood utensils
>make batch of something>put in tupperwares
really only burritos fit this criteria for me after many yearsall other meals just reheat better at home when i can micro them, add water/steam, etc. burritos dont need any of that
>>22270837That'll never work.
>>22270833the real issue is that water gets under those silicone grips and when/if you ever remove them to clean it'll be covered in mold. and you're using that to cook food.
>>22270837But it needs to be good after a couple days, u know?
>>22270876Yeah it's pretty simple stuff
>>22270829>Diced onion>Tomaytah paste>Garlic, ginger, cumin, coriander, turmeric, salt to taste>diced tomaytahs>chickpeas>coconut milk>garam masala to taste>top with fresh cilantroAll the while make some rice with coconut milk and salt. I have brought this to the office every day for 16 months.

>>22270897we know. that's why everyone hates you and wants you deported back to hyderbad.and stop shitting in the hallway what the fuck.
>>22270905Nice try but I'm a white guy and all my H1-B coworkers eat bbq. America is the great melting pot.
>>22270876As long as it's not anything deep fried or breaded it'll be fine
>>22270908no one thinks you're white, Franklin Shartdeepinpurseorporch
>>22270913It's my right as an American to shart wherever I want.
>>22270829home made bean burritos.Sometimes I'll make a larger portion of my dinner then put the rest in a container for lunch the next day.Other times i'll bring a cup noodle, but i'll go ahead and open it and add a spoon full of peanut butter and a tiny bit of sesame oil. I use the microwave ones so at work ill just add water, heat, and eat. chicken flavor tastes best for me on this one. my other go to is soft boiling a whole carton of eggs, cool, peel, then put into a container with water to cover them. i'll cut in half about 4, put them into a container im going to bring to work, sprinkle salt, pepper and some olive oil. then just eat that.
>>22270967forgot to mention not really meal prep, but yeah, with my rent and bills going up I literally can not afford to spend like 8 bucks a day at the cafeteria.I literally eat for like 1.50 a day if that.oh another one ill do is i'll mix a can of tuna with a little bit of mayo, then pack some crackers and eat just that. Also OP. if youre trying to save money on food, for the love of god, Utilize your local food bank/pantry. It has been a life saver for me.
>>22270971>mix a can of tuna with a little bit of mayo, then pack some crackers and eat just thatNice, I don’t know why but it’s amazingly delicious.
