I'm in Las Vegas for another day, any significantly good food spots to check out?

I’m not familiar but any specific kinds of food or types places you’re interested in?
>>

I dunno, unique I guess? I live in Los Angeles so most of the things I'm seeing are already available back home. I usually enjoy sweets/pastries

Le Thai on Fremont St is really good asian food and it's not expensive. Best crab Rangoons I ever had

If you're willing to splurge, go to Mon Ami Gabi at the Paris hotel on the strip. Their prices have gotten a little crazy, but it's really solid French food. Their cheeseburger is almost $30 now but it's still the best burger I've ever had, and it's a thick fucking patty not a gay ass smash burger

if you want a really tasty tiki drink, go to Frankie's Tiki Room and order a Painkiller. Smoke a cig inside while you drink it, because you can do that there

I am also intrested

Im going to be there in Feb for a concert. Im not a huge fan of the strip experiance so this time we will stay at circa downtown. A quick Google map exploration seems to show some actually intresting looking restraunts downtown and in the arts district. The strip is just ao overpriced and most of it is mediocre. And the good stuff is turbo expensive.

Stuff that was on my radar :
Le Thai as mentioned previously, just thought it looked good in pics/reviews

Bar Bahome -
I think they do a tasting menu that looks like a good value

Bangkok street -
near le Thai also looks good

Lotus of Siam-
is it worth an Uber from downtown or if the Bourdain hype too much?

3 georges -
Im not crazy about the Vegas style steakhouse in general just because im from steakhouse country so its just not that special and expensive . But im kind of obsessed with a old school 3 martini steakhouse lunch before the concert and this place looks right for that

Eval Pie-
Last time i was in Vegas i got pizza and beer at a pizza counter in the Luxor at 11:30 and it was like 118 dollars for 2 drunk people and im still fucking mad about it. The idea that I can get a couple slices and a beer at midnight a short walk from my hotel is appealing.

Atomic Liquors -
More a bar , but my buddy recently stayed downtown and recommended a stop.

Chinatown-
People always recommend this. Is it woth a cab ride from downtown?

Sushi?-
And good sushi downtown or in arts district?

Beer-
We always like to check out some breweries. And of the arts district stuff good? Been to Able Baker.

The strip-
We still have to venture to the strip twice for the 2 respective shows at the sphere so I figure we will pregame on the strip before showtime. Would love yo hear about any options mid strip where I can get a drink without the 3x strip markup.

I went to a weird taco place like a block off the strip and ate a cow brain taco. it wasn't good but it wasn't as gross as you think brain would be, it was like eating fish with no flavor

>half of them are Asian places
Bruh...
For me, it's the buffets.
>>

>Frankie's Tiki Room
is good, but The Golden Tiki mogs
>>

Yes it's a little profligate town I have been there

>Eval Pie-

Not worth it. I mean, if you're staying at a hotel on Fremont St and you walk by it, then yeah it's worth it to get a slice and a beer there, but it's nothing special. It's just fairly decent pizza. Better than Pizza Hut or dominos or frozen pizza, but it's not like some amazing top tier pizza place. Definitely not worth paying for an uber just to go there.

>Chinatown-
People always recommend this. Is it woth a cab ride from downtown?

Depends how much you're into Asian food. If you think that Asian cuisine is like the best ever, or if you're coming from some part of the USA without any asian food besides shitty Chinese restaurants then yeah it's worth it, but otherwise I'm not sure. I'd recommend just looking up specific restaurants and reading reviews rather than just going to the small chinatown area

I think they have Roberto's Taco shop, if they don't have that in LA that's always fun to get.

Other than that I would've recommended Tivoli Gardens, which was that Liberace themed restaurant that had the best Italian food in Vegas, but they closed down.

>buffets
I generally find there is nothing on a buffett im really happy about eating if I had ordered it ala cart. And I cant eat enough to make that worth it any more if im just going on volume.

go to Gold and Silver pawn shop and buy the potato chip that looks like Madonna and eat it.
