It depends on what you are looking for, comic readers normally stick to a specific series or writer they like. If you are looking for cute boys, you may look into the ‘98 Young Justice or Super-sons, your mileage may vary

As someone who's also not really into DC and only got into it for the /cm/ stuff, there's some pretty good Robin comics.

I mostly read Batman so I can't help much with other characters, but some must-read Batman series to understand the bare minimum of lore:

Year One by Frank Miller
The Long Halloween / Dark Victory
Death in the Family
Hush
The Court of Owls

I don't think it's canon anymore, but the 90's run of Cataclysm / No Man's Land is pretty good (warning: NML is looooong)

All-Star Superman from 2005 is also often recommended. And I've heard good things about Nightwing Rebirth.

Dark Patterns by Dan Watters and Batman and Robin Year One by Mark Waid are shortish standalone stories if long series overwhelm you.

The Batman 2016 run is still ongoing but it's generally well received. Just don't jump straight into it if you're not familiar with canon because without getting into spoilers it breaks the status quo a fair bit.

The Wayne Family Adventures webcomic is cute slice of life stuff if you're into that but it's definitely not canon lol.

And most recently you have the Absolute Universe which is an AU that gets a fuckton of hype because it reimagines the whole DC universe. It has runs for different characters like Superman, Batman, Flash, Martian Manhunter etc running side by side. But there's crossovers down the line so you kinda have to read Absolute Wonder Woman to get the full context.
