I haven't done this in 2 years, so I had to revamp my old one first. Here are my current Top 50. Some new additions pushed out some previous newcomers as well as some oldies that had stuck around for over a decade (rip Natsu Dragneel and Masaomi Kida). The biggest shake up came with the rise of Hirose (I already loved him from the manga but boy did the anime super charge that love) and the fall of Shou from UtaPri (as time goes on, my feels for that franchise cools as an anime-only since it's now just concert movies). Happy to say who anyone is if it's not immediately obvious or my picture for ants has set off your doki-doki and you must know who he is.

Such a good sports manga. Damn shame that Kadansha cut it short at the eleventh hour. Probably only needed another couple volumes to conclude naturally. Damn. Also probably sacrilege is here, but also one of the only times that I have ever actually cheered on the token het romance subplot. The author seriously made me that invested in every element of Ei-chan's life and struggles.
