A lot of people like Alastor and Rosie as friends while Husk is destined to end up with Angel so perhaps people took it more as a parallel with Valentino. I’ve personally seen more Rosie hate recently, even before the latest merch drop. I think a lot of that got glossed over by the fact that people got more hyped about the second half of s2e4. If we were only given the first half of the episode, I think there would be more discussions over the racial implications. Alastor is bad, but Rosie is also bad.
