A lot of people like Alastor and Rosie as friends while Husk is destined to end up with Angel so perhaps people took it more as a parallel with Valentino. I’ve personally seen more Rosie hate recently, even before the latest merch drop. I think a lot of that got glossed over by the fact that people got more hyped about the second half of s2e4. If we were only given the first half of the episode, I think there would be more discussions over the racial implications. Alastor is bad, but Rosie is also bad. >>4063837I would like to as well, I feel the whole 7 years thing change to the hazbin lore is a big ol plot hole for basically everyone, and removes Alastor from being relevant for a while. Much different then what was presented in the pilot, and still leaves a bad taste in my mouth, do hope we actually get to see what he was doing, not just a mention or a total ignore in place for other characters.
