It’s gonna be down for a month at least! It’s kinda scary. Alastor clearly has nifty do something to the code that they have to fix. Whimsy antics anything that isn’t directly needed to move the plot along.

I'm trying to finish things for when ao3 is back, though. I have some friends who also write and they're quite good at motivating me.
>>4072277Motivation is key with things, same thing with time. Don’t have enough or have too much and you can put things off and never do them. I’ve mostly just written little fics of either a self insert or generic self insert characters hanging around with the lovely deer.

It would be cool to write a fic about someone coming across him in his murder shack in the swamp doing weird things with dead bodies on Halloween, and he ends up chasing them through the swamp and capturing them. Maybe something to write for next year.

They try to run but Alastor catches them and ties them up, but he only gets to murder one of them before he has to go to church with his mama. The rest manage to escape just before he comes back, but he catches everyone and kills them for funsies. It could be a good x reader fic, with (you) being the last one alive... Perhaps he agrees to spare you if you kill one of your friends, then decides to keep you around.

He seems to have tried a few times to get through, and New Orleans was probably a really good place to source materials for that.
