Infinity Train wants you to see these women's actions as bad, but something they can get over, while Simon, who's actions are directly influenced by these women's actions, are meant to be completely unredeemable and he's a dirtbag who must die.Jax is better because Book 3 is a bunch of hypocritical pussy ass shit that's only effective for animation twitter.

He misses the time where Grace talks to Amelia and realizes shes not shit, he is lied to and manipulated constantly and never really given any chance at the end. Both Grace and Samantha were cunts to him his whole life, and while that doesnt mean they are 100% responsible for every bad thing he did, they did influence him negatively due to their own traumas. And then Amelia didnt give a single fuck about these two children who were stuck in the train with no information on why they were there, something that she is DIRECTLY responsible for after taking over the train. I am not saying he is innocent, but the gaslighting and mindset he gained due to Grace's lies and Samantha's abandonment is what drives these actions. Samantha directly gives him the tools to get rid of Grace and tells him to get rid of her, she is an instigator that has culpability for what happens later. But the show pretends it's all on him and the other women in his life who did very bad shit are actually redeemable "slay queens" while he's a dirtbag who should just die. He was abandoned by his cat friend and lied to by his other friend, ingrained a false mindset about a cunt who ruined their life. He is not like Jax, who despite being trapped by Caine, was given a helpful community of good friends who loved him, did not gaslight or tell him any lies, were there for him 100% and he still went apeshit. If Grace had been a good friend to Simon, Samantha stayed with him and Amelia gave him her pity, then you'd have a Jax situation and he deserved what he got. But as is, his downfall is not entirely his own. To make things funnier, despite Jax having a similar breakdown, he never tried to kill anyone of his friends or become a "god" like the cringe shit Simon did in IT, so his downfall, while more deserved, is way more sympathetic and tragic.And this is because Book 3 suuuuucks.
