Has The Simpsons ever genuinely criticized this character? Even when the show was supposedly "good" she was still the generic voice of reason character.

Not often, but there were little jokes portraying her as performative, like that football one episode where she wanted to make a big deal out of trying out as a girl and then backs out when Flanders reveals there are already girls on the team, and then she tries to make a big deal out of the football being made from pigskin, and Flanders says it’s synthetic.

Rewatched a bunch of Simpsons and then deep into zombification and while you mongs always talk about how terrible Lisa is I think Marge is worse.The most common plotline in the series is 'Marge gets unreasonably angry at Homer for something outside of his control and then he had to make it up to her even though it wasn't his fault.' While Marge is considered blameless. And there was also that episode where she runs him over and screams about how much she hates him.Meanwhile, Lisa is just an idiot.
There was that recent episode where Lisa fails to get a scholarship while Bart befriends professor Frink and gets one instead.
