>>153803602I did like Onyx Equinox. The main character is such a femboy. I like how it had a very distinct pre-Columbian Mexico feel to it. It was released during COVID. It got 12 episodes, and now is cancelled, and will most likely never be finished. I never heard of Twilight of the Gods or Blood of Zeus. This is the first time hearing of them. I couldn't even make it through the first episode of Iyanu. I don't like fake African accents or Afro fantasy/sci-fi. It just reminds me of Black Panther, which I also didn't like. These Afro-fantasy shows portray a very fantastic version of Africa that I know could never even come close to happening in real life and feels so detached from reality. My favorite Avatar clone is probably Dragon Prince. Which is made by the same people.

>>153810328I think COVID had something to do with why Onyx Equinox died and so did many other cartoon IPs. The Dragon Prince season 3 released in November 22, 2019. And season 4 in November 3, 2022. It was almost killed off due to COVID too. Waiting nearly 3 years for only 9 episodes is a long time to wait.
