I dunnow why but i feel like their catalogue consistenly hires good artists.
>>
No longer a relatable question. Comics as an industry are effectively dead. "Indie" publishers are not doing anything noteworthy.
>>
I don't have an exact favorite but off the top of my head, I really like SLG's comics from the 2000's
>>
>>153807792
Well then what was your favorite back then.
>>
>>153807735
2000 AD
>>
I like Dynamite, Zenescope, Boom Studios, Titan, Udon and Archie (or Oni Press since that's who's publishing their stuff now).
>>
>>153807735
First Comics
>>
Top Cow during the Ron Marz era.
Then IDW during their first Godzilla phase.

Today no fucking idea.
>>
Here's non Big 2 stuff I'm currently reading

>Oni
Spirit of the Shadows (love this, great fucking art)

>Bad idea
The Hab - i like dysart and i dug the setup from the first issue

>Vault
Nectar (its pretty good, weird premise like the salem setting)

>Antarctic
Shaman Kane (knew nothing about it, BleedingCool boosted it, its an indie British punk sci-fi thing, 2000AD esque, I dig it)

>Dynamite
Army of Darkness x Archie, Space Ghost (both guilty pleasure pulp fun), Muppet Noir (always grab any Langridge muppets). also enjoyed the Nightmare Before Xmas and Gargoyles/Darkwing Duck minis

>Fantagraphics
grabbing all the new Scrooge, Donald and Mickey floppies. best comics in the world.

>Mad Cave
Dick Tracy, Flash Gordon, The Phantom (I'm a pulp fag and I enjoy all of them) + Speed Racer+Racer X

>IDW
Rocketeer (new mini is sick), Twilight Zone (love the B&W anthology format), Yang & Williams on TMNT, TMNT Journeys (for Laird)

>Dark Horse
Usagi Kaito 84 (thumbs up), just finished Knight City (liked it but too short), MegaGhost (quirky), gotta pick up new Groo

>Ahoy
Love Toxie

>Titan
new round of Lenore one shot from Roman Dirge (i'm a fanboy), gotta grab the new Elric

>Image
D'Orc (digging), Malevolent (intrigued), Thing on the Doorstep (its alright), Tigress Island (not bad), Death Fight Forever (fun), Viking Moon (hate the delays), Super Creepshow (mindless), Corpse Knight (cool first issue), Spawn: Dark Ages (sick)

>Valiant
Love new Shadowman, Harbinger, Bloodshot was edge kino

I have a soft spot for Image. They have their ups and downs, right now they're going through a strong period
>>
>>153807735
It would be Dark horse for me as well, when I moved away from Marvel/DC for the first time all my favorite shit at the time. Vertgio was a big one for me at the same time as well.
Nowadays I'm not sure there is one, I don't get attached to companies/brands anymore. Maybe Fantagraphics because they put out really nice quality collections and reprints of classic comic and they still got old alt comics I loved.

Hotel de las ideas.

I had very high respect for Dark Horse back in the 90's and early 2000s when they had a near monopoly on manga in US. Now I don't even know what they do anymore.
>>
>>153807792

I just really liked these comics.
Also Link not having a laser sword in every game is lame.
>>
>>153817686
Don't they still so the same thing? Print manga and comics? Just there's more people in the manga printing game is all.
>>
IDW, no contest
>>
>>153809952

Technically it was a DC imprint, but still. Even the Non-Moore written books were gold.
>>
>>153819398
Started out as an Image imprint then Jim Lee sold it to DC which made Alan Moore fume, but nothing he could do but seethe since he had a contract.
>>
>>153819626
They wanted to rival DC and marvel with universe characters and the such, looking back it was the best age of comics so far
>>
>>153819626
Jim Lee is a snake.

I miss Moore, man. These were some of the best comics of the 2000s and they're always ignored.
