Jax gets abstracted. Caine removes the tumor in his head that is the AI he ate and becomes emotionally sane. Everyone else learns what they achieved outside the circus and can now enjoy achieving things inside the circus knowing their out-of-circus lives are already fulfilled. They expand the Digital Circus to have more floating island areas to enjoy. The abstracted characters are left abstracted in dark comfortable places. Everyone was treated basically exactly how they deserved to be treated and the ending was extremely positive while leaving things open to future seasons. This was by normal standards a very good movie and good ending. Anything left hanging was mild, and largely would be solved by future seasons. Adding a logical leap, it was jokingly hinted by Gangle in the restaurant episode and those kinds of jokes are normally not just passing remarks when it comes to an auteur, so leaving a few mild things open is pretty obvious. Also, they were all C&A employees taking the same bus. Gangle and Zooble fuck. It's pretty well-rounded as a movie and ending, leaving only the bare minimum open if they can get an extra season.I do not agree at all with how this movie and ending have been characterized en masse, it was good and I will absolutely be seeing the version in theaters that does not send me back to Brazil. >>153813761The issue with TADC is that the plot is so thin most people would only write it as a 1 shots for new worlds for them to go with and we know simultaneously too much and too little about how they'd react to stuff to change them all that much. It's also got 0 combat with any real stakes so most people would see it as too boring in as written
