The tonal dissonance of the end of Jax's abstraction sequence is unbearable. It plays Isn't She Lovely over these flashbacks that are mostly of Jax being an asshole or suffering, after he impotently begs not to die, then goes to everyone smiling over Pomni and Jax's tortured remains being led into darkness like an animal. It seems like it's supposed to be sweet and cathartic but it's monstrous and nightmarish. And I'm not even a Jaxfag. I have no particular attachment to his character (unlike the person who wrote all this).
You think if Zooble got in instead of Ribbit at that time she and Jax would get along. They both are kind of dealing with similar body dysmorphia issues and seemingly get along in the real world.

Still he can't face them, he knows they are here to rescue pomni, even in death he's still a menace, he begs pomni to put him with the other abstractions and leave him alone. He is aware of her visits, and says everyone is happier without him. When the others drag Pomni out, she pulls Jax with her.

And an apology to Ragatha, who has been terrified of him since he came back. She drops the bombshell that Ribbit was already on the verge of Abstracting before her fight with Jax. She had a two year old, and had started to think that the baby would have died while she was in the circus. She never wanted anyone to know that she was a terrible mother. The anime world starts disintegrating as the level overloads and they have to escape
