Season 38, Episode 6: "Homer's War-Torn Heart"The episode opens with the men of Springfield watching a game in Moe's Tavern. The casual, fun atmosphere is suddenly broken as the game is interrupted by a breaking news message. The feed is from the Oval Office, Donald Trump announces a national draft as the war with Iran continues on.Weeks go by until Homer receives notice that he has been drafted into the army. As he gets ready for his deployment, Homer finds out Lenny and Carl have also been drafted. The three are sent to Iran, it's horrible. Lenny and Carl are killed by drones and Homer loses a leg from a landmine. Homer is discharged from the military because of his injury.Homer returns home, rolling up to the door in a wheelchair, to find out that Marge has cheated on him with a black man. Marge shows no regret or remorse towards Homer. The episode ends on Homer alone, crippled, and heartbroken, with nowhere to turn.What are your Simpson ideas?

You should change it to a future episode with Bart so you can have Lisa make a speech about you can't support your soldiers for this awful war as Bart comes home crippled with the caskets of Milhouse and Nelson. You could make a joke where milouses funeral said was loved but not missed with his family there and Nelson says will be missed but not lived as no family is there and you hear a crow sqauck ha ha.

Since the incident, Apu's been saving money to get a vocal chords operation from either Dr. Hibbert, Dr. Nick or Professor Frink.>Don't drop the actual canon reason in the episode.
