Pomni and Ribbit are interesting characters and still easy to empathize with on their own because they at least act like humans. So is Jax, better than any male character. Kinger is a contender, but he's practically just a therapist with a tragic backstory without very much personality of his own.

It took me by surprise when Goose said the story was about Jax and Pommi when there is not really that much interaction until Ep6.Pommi is fine, she is definitively a protagonist but Jax was just as equal as everyone else in terms of screen time and his story was not thought out really well.I had assumed that he was nerd that then became popular bullying his friends, became a frat boy, something went wrong and his mind ended in the circus.Something like he was humiliated at a party, like some sort of initiation thing at a frat house and he ended up leaving the party drunk and perhaps hit someone with his car in this state.I thought the IRL car scenes and Gangle getting hit by a truck were connected.I have the impression the movie was done before EP7 and 8, not saying it was the case but EP8 was so strong.
